Born in the Toad village from the Mushroom Kingdom, Toadinne was raised by her sister Toadette, older by many years.
The place was nice and known for its friendly atmosphere, the village full of habitants of their kind and tourists.
So many habitants in fact, that it always made Toadinne feel uneasy.
She spent most of her time indoors, refusing to follow her sister anywhere by fear of others outside.
One day, Toadinne learnt about a calm area called the Celestial Kingdom from her sister, the Princess Peach herself inviting them to join her for some vacations.
The place was ruled by the Celest siblings, chilhood friends of the princess.
Accompanied by a group of her closest citizens, Peach climbed a long snake-like beast who would guide them to the place.
As soon as feet landed on the ground floating high in the sky, Toadinne instantly fell in love with the Kingdom.
It was the most heavenly place she's ever seen, green landscapes brushed by the calm wind welcoming her.
The citizens themselves were peacefully flying around, adding a fairy tale touch to the overall atmosphere... She couldn't describe it otherwise.
The group got welcomed by one of Peach's friend: Lola, and the visit only added more reasons for her to enjoy her stay.
Sadly, the vacations couldn't last forever as the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom had royal responsibilities to intend.
Toadinne really wanted to stay; she hadn't enjoy such relaxing place for so long, being able to stay outside without fearing of being bothered.
She then decided to ask her sister if they could stay here a bit longer; but Toadette had to work for Princess Peach and had to remain on her side.
Noticing her disappointed expression, the princess of these lands, Lola, kneeled down to the Toads and proposed Toadinne to stay a little longer under the royal family's monitoring, only with the other's permission.
Everyone seemed delighted with the suggestion, and accepted immediately if Toadinne would give news by letter in exchange.
And so her stay got extended after being given her own room in the castle.
Toadinne was considered like a special guest thanks to the princess and her Snakoopa.
Toadinne felt like she found a home suiting her, learning about the Kingdom's culture and different places, the royal garden being her favourite.
The adorable Toad was treated with great care by the Prince Leon himself, growing a strong family bond with the child, hil usually being very cold toward people he doesn't know.
Truly, it was a sudden awareness for her, ending up requesting her sister and the royal family to stay here, a wish being granted.
Feeling like she belonged here, Toadinne got more comfortable with her surroundings, often ending up suggesting her help to the royal family in their daily responsibilities.
Being skeptical with the child helping them, the family accepted at last once they saw how fullfilled she was after helping.
They would ask her the simpliest task in order to avoid her being overwhelmed but making her happy in the meanwhile.
Toadinne slowly self-proclamed herself the maid of the Celest royal family, now being an important part of their life.
In the future, Leon and Toadinne's bond gets so strong that he considers her his child.
Toadette [ Older sister ]
One living in the Mushroom Kingdom, and the other in the Celestial Kingdom, the sisters remain in touch by sending each others letters and are now correspondents. It happens for Toadette to pay a visit to the Celestial Kingdom, where she is warmly welcomed, to see her little sister. She's really happy seeing her little sister being so much happier.
Captain Toad [ Best friend ]
Being her older sister's partner, Toadinne got used to him when they both visited her in the Celestial Kingdom. Over time, he helped her boosting her confidence by bringing her with him during treasure expeditions, which actually worked, Toadinne enjoying accompanying him in his adventures for rare occasions.
Toad [ Close friend ]
While having a hard time adjusting to the Toad village, being too different by not being capable of handling crowds, Toad stood out from the rest by being a very helpful and understanding folk. Though Toadinne often mistakes someone else for him-
Leon [ Superior/ Authority figure ]
Toadinne quickly became one of the few Leon tolerates, Toadinne considering herself his assistant. Though most of his experiences can be a little too dangerous for her to be around, during safe moments he allows her to stay with him and watch. He almost considers her his child, being protective and caring toward her.
Lola [ Superior/ Close friend ]
Self-proclamed princess' maid, Toadinne enjoys serving Lola, meanwhile the princess always reminds Toadinne not to be too formal with her. She enjoys spending time with the princess, by reading under a tree with her, or crafting flower crowns together.
Monty [ Good friend ]
Finding the Snakoopa intimidating at first, Toadinne quickly grew fond of the huggable creature, who honestly doesn't mind her presence, still being a harmless being. They let her sleeping against them, using them as a plush while they're secretly being a very decent baby-sitter.
Princess Peach [ Good friend ]
Peach is one of the first adult Toadinne started looking up to, often seeing her as Toadette is one of her closest workers. She's eternally thankful for her generosity, knowing that her life would have been very different without her.
