after discovering that the Chaos Emeralds could boost his technopathic abilities to near-infinite levels, Daedalus decided that there was really only one thing to do with it.

both Eggman and GUN were useless against him due to him being able to seize control of their machines, even with only two Emeralds-- any attempts to attack him and his base of operations would put them in range of his powers. despite this, Daedalus wants to see what he can really do, and is dead set on finding the other five.
