Profile
Yuzuki grew up in a single parent household, her father having left her mother shortly after she got pregnant. Though money was always a struggle for them her mother adored her and always treated her kindly so she grew up a pretty happy child. She wanted to enter the workforce directly after middle school to help support the family but her mother insisted she try and enjoy her school life instead. As a compromise she took several part time jobs after starting high school and is almost always busy with those, housework, or club activities.
Yuzuki first experienced the dark hour working late at a part time job. At the time she coincidentally caught a glimpse of Yamato while he was working with SEES and recognized him. When she tried to catch up to him to figure out what was going on she was caught up in a battle with shadows and ended up awakening her persona. The senpai managed to convince her to join SEES but she did choose to commute rather than live at the dorm with the rest of the members so she could continue helping her mother when needed. Because of this her schedule is always packed and she rarely gets much rest.
Yuzuki is bright and energetic, the kind of person who never slows down. For those who don't know her well, she may come across as shallow and frivolous, but she's smarter than she looks, and an incredibly fast learner. It's hard to hold her attention for long so school bores her, but she's naturally intelligent and manages to make fairly good grades even though she rarely studies. She's confident in her own abilities, sometimes to the extent of arrogance, which can lead her to overestimate herself and make rash decisions. When she finds herself unsuccessful at her first attempt at something, however, she tends to quickly get frustrated and give up. While she has plenty of potential she has little ambition; it's more enjoyable to her to live in the moment rather than set any concrete goals. Because of her outgoing personality Yuzuki loves to talk to just about anyone, and makes friends very quickly. More subdued personalities can find her overbearing, as she will take the lead in any situation without strong opposition. Her emotions can change quickly, and she's stubborn about her opinions and often butts heads with similar people. Although she will fight with friends frequently, she rarely holds grudges or dwells in negative feelings for long.
- A star member of the volleyball team, though she would prefer to spend her free time working.
- She can't stand prolonged silence and will start humming or talking to herself.
- Hates to cook but loves to eat.
- Known to occasionally get into fights, she won't initiate them but she won't back down when challenged either.
- Although she puts a lot of care into her appearance she keeps her makeup fairly natural.
- Always wears bike shorts under her skirt.
Best Friend
Chiaki and Yuzuki's similarly sociable personalities meant they became close friends almost immediately after meeting. They spend most of their downtime in the dorm hanging out with each other and chatting about everything from classmates to celebrities. Their nonstop conversation can be grating for some of the others (mostly Yamato) but with their powers combined they're impossible to stop.
Childhood Friend
Yuzuki and Yamato grew up in the same neighborhood and often played with each other since they were near the same age. They grew apart in middle school and by the time they entered highschool they were mostly strangers. Although they more or less rely on each other as teammates after Yamato joins SEES most of their interactions are more bickering than actual conversation.
Teammate
Before she joined SEES, Yuzuki was interested in Arata for his charming and charismatic appearance. After getting to know him better she lost interest and now sees him as a fairly useless senpai. She doesn't particularly dislike him but she doesn't hold much respect for him either.
