Taisei Natsui

"I must say, I'm impressed. I didn't think you had that sort of strength, Okuda."
Taisei Natsui (夏井 大成 Natsui Taisei), also known as Tsunami is a student in Class 1-B at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero.
Quirk
Hydrokinesis: Taisei's Quirk is that she is able to control and manipulate any water in her vicinity's shape, movement speed, and temperature. However, if the water freezes or evaporates, she loses control over it as the particles must be in a liquid state for her Quirk to take effect.
Fountain: Taisei has a secondary mutant-type Quirk that makes his hair be replaced with water. Combined with his Hydrokinesis Quirk, this serves as an easy, on-hand water source to use in battle.
Trivia
- Taisei's Hero Name, Tsunami, comes from the natural disaster of the same name. In part this is becasue the manner in which she uses her Quirk often causes water to draw back before rushing forth with a destructive speed, but is also a direct admission of her Quirk's inherent danger.
- Taisei's mother, Ren Natsui (夏井 蓮 Natsui Ren), is also known as the Floodgate Hero: Lotus. She has a similair water-manipulation Quirk to her child, but lacks the ability to alter water's temperature. Taisei's father, Daichi Natsui (夏井 大地 Natsui Daichi), is a chemical engineer with a Quirk that allows him to adjust the properties of particles.
- 'Taisei' is a chosen name, rather than his legal one. Their birth name is never revealed.
- Taisei's birthday, March 20, is the Spring Equinox.
"...okay, I think I have a plan, but you're going to have to trust me."

Taisei's older brother who she considered her best friend. They grew up very close, sharing an ambition to someday become Pro-Heroes, just like their mother.
After Kiyoshi was expelled from U.A., he disappeared for a while. Taisei knew he was still alive, as he'd still read and reply to their texts, they just... didn't expect the next time they saw him to be during a Villain attack.
Taisei has... conflicting feelings on Okuda. She's always respected him and done her best to be friendly on the odd occasion they spoke, not wanting to scare the meekest, most skittish member of Class 1-B, but ever since he beat her one-on-one during training, she's severely doubted her own ability. If someone like Okuda could beat them, how are they ever going to defeat a real Villain?
