"Hey, hey, heyyy! Hold up, Matsumoto! Wait for me!"
Hoshi Eto (江藤 星 Etō Hoshi), also known as Statica is a student in Class 1-B at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero.
Quirk
TV: Hoshi's Quirk is that her head is is replaced by an old-fashioned TV. She also has a cable that hangs from the back of the TV which she is able to use both as a close-range whip-like weapon, and as a means to better traverse her surroundings.
Trivia
- Hoshi's hero name, Statica, is just the word 'static' with an 'a' sound added on, inspired by the spanish suffix '-ita'. She removed the 't' because "that made it sound a little too blocky, ya know?"
- Hoshi has a strong interest in foreign languages, knowing and using words and phrases from other languages on occasion — particularly english and spanish.
- Because Hoshi's TV head isn't considered organic, it isn't effected by most healing quirks.
- Hoshi lacks a sense of smell and taste, though her other senses work as usual.
- Hoshi's birthday, 19/6, is a reference to the 1960s, when the cassette tape was invented.
- Hoshi's favourite Pro-Hero is the Taping Hero: Cellophane. The evasive manoeuvres his Tape Quirk allows him to perform inspired Hoshi to develop similair ones using her power cable.
"I'm pretty good at this whole distraction-thing, aren't I?"

Hoshi considers Taisha a friend, and though she's aware that perception of their relationship is one-sided, she's sure Taisha will be worn down and admit that they're not just acquaintances anymore eventually.
Hoshi holds a lot of respect and trust for Taisha, allowing them to use their borrowed Poltergeist Quirk on her.
Hoshi and Matsumoto are friends. Both not being the brightest in 1-B, they often find themselves roped together as a stupid collective of sorts. There's not a braincell between the two of them, but they make for a competent duo when working together in combat situations.
