Bubblegum takes pretty much nothing serious.  Gum grew up in a very restrictive environment, so the moment gum turned 13 and went out into the world of battling, gum decided that gum would just go crazy and do whatever gum wanted. She can definitely be described as "crazy", in the light-hearted sense of the word. A lot of people view pink as being "too much personality", but people really can't help but love the avalanche of joy, laughter, and silliness pink brings every time she rolls into town.

• Even though Bubblegum has made a hefty sum of money battling gym leaders, she likes to live frugally and sleep outside or in hotels with her Pokemon. She also gives a ton of her money away just for fun.
• She has no desire to challenge the Elite Four, in her words its too "cliche".
• Gum's team is affectionately called "The Boys" because they're all boys.
• Crobat: "Ricky" he/him. Ricky is a perpetual grump, mostly because he was caught as a Zubat by Bubblegum and didn't really like her at all for the first months they were together. However, now he's resigned himself to going along with her every whim. There's a fondness he has for pink way down deep in the crevices of his heart, but he'd never show it. He really likes to battle and take out his aggression on other poor people's Pokemon. 
• Hypno: "Gaylord" he/him. Shameless flirt to any person or Pokemon that crosses his path. Really passionate about telling people's fortunes; unfortunately no human can understand him obviously because he's a Pokmeon. Bubblegum sits through his fortune tellings for hours just to be polite. She picked him up off the street of a big city where he lived in an alley telling people's futures and interpreting dreams for cash. He's mostly in it for the financial stability and three meals a day that comes with being Bubblegum's Pokemon. Gaylord is a sick bastard (lovingly) and thinks Bubblegum is too naive.
• Gligar: "Punk" he/him. Exactly what his name entails. A petty thief who tried to steal one of Bubblegum's favorite pieces of jewelry so she caught him in a Pokeball as revenge. However, he and Bubblegum are on great terms! They are both very scrappy and fun and love to fight. He considers every day as Bubblegum's Pokemon an adventure, and he loves getting into trouble -- but won't hesitate to hide behind Bubblegum's leg if he bites off more than he can chew. All of the other boys on the team love to pick on him (playfully).
• Slowbro: "Manny" he/him. Arguably Bubblegum's best friend and one of the first Pokemon pink ever caught, back when he was still a Slowpoke. Manny and Gum are attached at the hip, they do everything together. While all of pink's other Pokemon love roughhousing and running around and playing, Manny mostly lays around and watches everyone fondly. Everyone in the team is very affectionate on Manny, he's kind of like a wise dad. He loves to eat. Bubblegum is always laying on top of him or around him on their lazy days. 
• Chatot: "Robin" he/him.  Probably Bubblegum's most obnoxious Pokemon (fondly). Both she and Robin are terrible at singing and they do it loudly and happily all the time. They love going to karaoke together. Robin spends a lot of his time away from the group though, flying high in the sky and sort of scouting things out. He always comes back and finds them with ease somehow though, which is why Gum always leaves her window open even on cold nights -- so Robin can come back. Robin's singing is so loud and terrible that sometimes, weaker Pokemon can be KO'd instantly. The rest of the group have learned to accept/love it, and just start singing along with him.
• Quagsire: "Lucas" he/him. Another one of Bubblegum's closest friends who is always hanging around/on her. Loves to roughhouse with everyone else and is always excited to go for a swim. He also loves getting piggyback rides, but is often the one giving the others piggybacks. Robin is almost always perched on his head. He and Manny get along the best, since they both have personalities that are on the calmer side. They almost act like the dads of all of these rambunctious kids, but Lucas is the fun dad and Manny is the lazy dad. Lucas is kind of a powerhouse of the team in terms of battles, too.
