Tegan plays the part of a pretty face well, comfortably selling his appearance as a club singer. Underneath the first impression, there's a hardworking and talented curio trying to make ends meet while breaking into the entertainment industry.
History
Growing up in the ‘boonies’ outside Rumba Sumba, Tegan would prefer to leave all that behind now that he’s settled into Seajewel. Raised primarily by his grandparents he would describe it as a mostly peaceful but extremely boring upbringing. Tegan had little interest in any of the potential archaeological career options in the area, instead finding a love and talent for music as a kit. A practiced vocalist and violinist, Tegan readily jumped into any musical opportunity presented to him.
Into his twenties, caring for his aging grandparents, and watching childhood friends move on to new and better things weighed on him. Feeling as though any chance at making a career in music was slipping rapidly out of view, Tegan took the jump. Using his meager savings from years of odd jobs to move to Seajewel. (Chosen in part yes, because he hadn’t lived by-- or seen the ocean)
It would be nice to say it was some glamorous dream that became an easy reality, but it’s been a lot of sultry singing in seedy bars, for whatever tired sailors and blue collar types that have wandered in that week. While Tegan isn’t the type to turn his nose at hard work, it would be nice to feel a bit more secure, both in income and actual safety.

- Tegan fiddles with jewelry given to him by Jagari, especially when thinking of him.
- Those who assume he can't hold a drink will be quick to realize their mistake.
- Grandparents and childhood friends may refer to him as "Tig" but thats been left behind since the move.
- Tegan has a slight rural accent, something he suppresses in the city. Though it shows when he's excited or angry.

A chance meeting turned beneficial relationship, Jagari is good company and Tegan enjoys the attention. Though sometimes its hard not to wonder if things could ever be more real...?
