Others’ first impressions of Luciel would consistently involve the words: reserved, dignified and proud. He naturally conducts himself in a distinguished manner, predominantly noted by others for his hard work and perseverance. Adept at problem solving, he does exceptionally well in any situation that requires him to work through an issue or challenge that follows a theoretically logical direction. Continuously striving to do what’s right, he’s capable of making use of the resources available to him in order to reach the best possible conclusion. Memories of his childhood are vague, dream-like, and slowly fading. Luciel holds little remembrance of his parents, as the two were taken away from him at an early age. From his faint recollections, he recalls being extremely fond of his benevolent mother whilst greatly admiring his expressive father. Perhaps his anamnesis may be flawed, but he never felt misunderstood by them. Despite his lack of outward expression, they had little to no difficulty understanding their only child’s needs. Overall, he believes they were warm people—and despite their short time together—the lessons they taught him about love and compassion are those he subconsciously retains to this day.
Because of their close bond however, the sudden news of their deaths shook him greatly. Loss was a concept that Luciel understood, but at the time, it wasn’t something that a child his age could completely comprehend. Like flora going into shock, the sudden change in environment slowly withered his spirits as he entered his adolescent years.
Due to the close relationship his aunt and uncle had with his mother and father, Luciel resided with them through a part of his youth. The two tried their best to integrate him into their family, hoping that he and their own child, Lucias, would be able to see each other as brothers. Considering the other possible circumstances he could have found himself in, Luciel thought himself lucky to be raised by such caring people. However, while his extended family tried their best to look after his needs, he never quite felt understood by them.
These misconceptions spread not only within his family, but in other aspects of his life as well. Because Luciel had always possessed exceptional abilities, he was regarded as a genius in both academics and physical prowess. On top of his natural talents, his difficulty in exerting himself caused most to hold the assumption that he gravitated toward independence. Others who were envious grew negative generalizations of his character, and as a result, he distanced himself from people entirely.
Across his educational career, Luciel received numerous scholarships to elite schools that desired him for his intellect. Wanting to detach himself from environments that made him uncertain, he expanded his horizons abroad. While his skills grew, his interpersonal relationships dwindled—and in the end, he graduated quietly in solitude.
Surprisingly to most, despite his talents allowing him to easily enter a multitude of career paths, Luciel chose to become a private investigator. Despite being deemed officially as an accident on paper, he learned shortly after his international travels that there was evidence of foul play in his parents’ tragedy—their deaths most likely a result of collateral damage. Having no other direction or passions in life, he decided to pursue a profession in criminal justice in order to solve the mystery of this case. While his motives seem vengeful, the true reasons for his actions are so others wouldn’t have to suffer through a similar loss.

Whilst their relationship started off as mere work partners, Isaiah’s continuous teasing flustered Luciel to no end. The latter was more accustomed to quieter engagements, since most held the assumption that he was a relatively cold person. Yet Luciel’s monotonous responses didn’t seem to phase Isaiah, and soon he grew warm at the mere idea that perhaps someone genuinely wanted to stay by his side.
Slowly, Luciel’s budding feelings for him bloomed into love. With unexaggerated honesty, he thought the time they spent together were the happiest days of his life. Every mundane second was efflorescent—and for the first time, he felt as if he had the same sense of normalcy as his surrounding peers. Unfortunately, a tragic twist of fate turned his bliss into heartbreak.
Revealing his true identity, Isaiah shattered Luciel’s fragile serenity before leaving him without warning. Emotionally distraught, his partner’s actions came to be the first mystery that Luciel wasn’t able to solve. Despite nothing but tragedy awaiting them at the end of their story, perhaps in another lifetime they can find happiness with one another.
In a brighter timeline, Luciel and Isaiah were able to obtain their happy ending and started a family together. They adopted a pair of twins, with Hyacinth being their son who took on Luciel’s name. A crybaby who’s rather sensitive compared to other boys his age, Luciel tries his best to emphasize with his feelings despite his own emotional constipation. Often worrying if he’s making the correct choices as a father, he wants his son to feel safe and comfortable in their home.
In a brighter timeline, Luciel and Isaiah were able to obtain their happy ending and started a family together. They adopted a pair of twins, with Azalea being their daughter who took on Isaiah’s name. A spoiled girl who's often doted on by her father, Luciel frequently scolds Isaiah for easily giving into their daughter’s desires. Admittedly, he has a hard time understanding her due to his inexperience with girls—often worrying if he’s able to properly communicate his care for her.
Raised as brothers after his parents’ deaths, Luciel sees Lucias as an important member of his family. Despite being several years younger, he views him in high regard—incredibly awed at Lucias’ ability to attract others. There are times when Luciel has difficulty understanding his actions, but his fondness is exceptionally sincere. It’s unfortunate however that unbeknownst to Luciel, Lucias’ feelings toward him are far from requinted.
