Reed is a go with the flow kind of guy but is not afraid to stand his ground when needed as he had to grow up a lot faster. He pushed himself to mature faster in order to take custody of his younger sister, Ami, from his emotional negligent parents. In turn, he never got to go out with the rest of his friends during his youth so he takes the small pleasures from life when he can. Teaching his sister how to ice skate for the first time, having ice cream at the park with his friends, and taking a nap after after a hard days of work, all examples of the small things dear to his heart.

He's a good hearted man with good intentions despite all his complaining about work. He may not be a super hero but he won't sit on by as the hero's save the world, he'll do what he can. But even with his optimism, he always keeps in mind the cruel realities of the world. After all, his job wouldn't exist without it.

He's got a dry sense of humor that doesn't mesh well with everyone but ones with the same type of humor find him absolutely hilarious. He's also got a playful side to him. Once you're close enough to him that you're able to freely tease one another, he spares no expenses. Tiny silly banters with his co-workers are never gone with out in his department.

• He had originally wanted to be a super hero but dropped the idea because he had to take care of Ami and realized how much work it actually takes
