Fyllo Wolfsbane

Race: Miqo'te  (Humanoid with animal ears and a cat-like tail) 

Sub-race: Seeker of the sun (see above link)

Height: 5' 7" (173.2cm)

Build: lean but toned

Hair: medium length, somewhat shaggy, pale silvery blue with a darker hue on eartips and tail tuft.

Eyes: Ice blue, cat-like (verticle slit pupils)

Occupation: Adventurer, Mercenary, and Freelance Crafter. 

Backstory: Fyllo's parents were from a branch of the F tribe that lived in Ala Mihgo. His birth father was killed by the empire before he was born. His mother died in childbirth. He was named and raised by a Hyur couple thus why he has a Hyur surname. He was raised alongside another orphaned Miqo'te named Khei who he views as his sister even if they aren't related by blood.

Having no notion of his culture,  he considers himself an outcast, devoid of any tribe.

Once he was old enough to be conscripted by the empire, with the help of the resistance, he and his sister fled across the border and eventually found his way to Limsa Lomisa while his sister ventured across the sea to Thanalan and eventually to Ul'dah.

His story thus far:

During his adventures across the realm he met and eventually fell in love with a viera whom he married. While Fyllo has ever been the calm and rather subdued half,  his spouse is feisty and playfully mischievous; often pulling pranks, embarrassing, annoying, or otherwise flustering him.

One such ongoing prank arose from a marriage gift from the fae king of Il mheg. Fyllo and Sylvia were gifted a pair of enchanted pendants that bound them to each other. Neither of them could remove theirs unless they removed them together. In this way they were bound to each other. 

They were both more than happy to wear the pendants and after the usual rounds of "thank yous" and "farewells" they went back to their usual adventuring and saving someone from something. 

When they finally had some time to rest and just enjoy each other's company Fyllo discovered that there was.. ahem.. additional elements to the enchantment. Namely the ability to enlarge or reduce the stature of the wearers. 

Sylvia enjoys employing this ability when Fyllo least expects it.  Much to his annoyance.

 Further adding to his frustration is his seeming inability to use his own pendant to reverse whatever shenanigans of the day his spouse has chosen to employ. Much to Sylvia's amusement as only she is privy to the fact that her pendant is the one that controls the enchantment for the both of them. His is only the receiver.

Often, when there's no threat requiring the  presence of Hydelyn's chosen, Sylvia will use her pendant to make him too big to easily leave their island getaway in an attempt to force him to relax while she needs to be away. Unfortunately for him, this serves to make him nervous more than relax.

In such a position, he keeps to the beaches for fear of harming any of the animals that roam the island. There, however, he is constantly vigilant as he fears visitors, expected or not, could show up during that time. 

Having to explain his.. condition.. is not something he is keen on having to do. Assuming they don't run out of shear panic at the first sight of the poor Miqo'te.

(Sylvia DOES use this enchantment in reverse (or on  herself) as well but reserves such for use when she's angry with him or  for her own amusement.)

Contacts: While he was part of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, he's had limited contact with the primary Scions. Just one of many of Hydelyn's chosen, he gets called upon now and then to fight a lesser primal along with any other Maelstrom soldiers who also possess Hydelyn's blessing. 

By a fluke he did venture to the first and ended up making friends among the Fae. His, now wife, got along most with Feo ul who later would host their wedding. Feo ul, while technically a contact, is NOT someone he wants to ask for help. Ever.

Possible RP Hooks:

● Noble to a Fault- Having escaped from an Imperial province, he knows well what hardships many face. He hates to see anyone suffer and will help in any way he can. Often times people take advantage of him for it but even so he just can't bring himself to turn down a plea for help.

Maybe you've come to help too. Perhaps you've found the poor sod during or after a mugging. Or you, yourself, have a need for help.

● Limsan Connections- Having always been fond of the sea, he made himself at home in Limsa Lominsa and even joined and rise to the rank of Captain in the Maelstrom. As such he can commonly be found in and around Vylbrand if not in the city itself.

Perhaps you, too, are a fellow Limsan Maelstrom solider. Maybe you're with an important person (or are one yourself) who was appointed a solider or two as escorts to or from the city as protection from riff raff.

● Hell Hath No Fury- Being rather socially awkward he doesn't make a habit out of visiting places like taverns, dance halls, theaters, or any other similar public gathering places. If you find him in such a place he is most likely looking very nervous with good reason. Odds are he's hiding from his partner's ire. Usually by doing or saying something stupid.

● Rumor has it- Limsa's experiment into the viability of settling the Cieldalaes has, so far, been a rousing success. Plans to settle were set in full swing. Things screeched to a halt, however, when pirates and merchantmen alike started spouting rumors of huge monsters on the islands. 

Perhaps you've set out to investigate these rumors by commission, order, or even of your own volition. Mayhap you wish to find and slay the beast for fame, glory, or simply to set people's hearts at ease.

Maybe your put no stock into such silly rumors until you happened to espy a certain Miqo'te who, upon hearing another of the rumors, seemed to become flustered and quickly excused themselves from the area.
