Occupation: Adventurer, Mercenary, Bodyguard, Lab Rat, basically if there's money to be made; she'll do it.
Backstory: Having been orphaned shortly after birth, Khei never knew her parents let alone what tribe she would have originated from. She was taken in and raise by a Hyur couple alongside another Miqo'te named Fyllo. Having grown up together they consider themselves siblings even if they are not related by blood.
Though feisty and perfectly capable of taking care of herself, her brother was always fiercely protective of her and when they had come of age to be conscripted by the empire they both fled across the border from Gyr Abania into Eorzea. While Khei chose to make her own way to Thanalan and Ul'dah, her brother, instead, chose to venture further afield to the island city state of Limsa Lominsa.
Her story thus far:
While her brother tends to be calm and collected, Khei tends to be feisty, sarcastic, and short tempered. Her sensitive side is only seen by those who she's grown comfortable enough with to trust
As one of Hydelyn's chosen, she's had her fair share of helping save the world but she is wont to sit back and let others take the wheel if she can get away with it.
For the most part she's simply out of have a good time.

Contacts: She knows OF the Scions and has even taken part in some of the larger scale operations but her part has always remained as a Captain in the Immortal Flames. As such she has never had more contact than seeing them from afar.

● Second Rate Sellsword- She went where most other Ala Mhigan refugees went. Ul'dah. Little more than a street-rat, she learned the ins and outs of the city. Things were tough but she took odd jobs where she could and picked up training at the Gladiator's guild in hopes of earning money in the ring. She could defend herself well enough but she was never a match for the real gladiators. I stead she took up the mantle of sellsword, offering whatever services someone might need.
Maybe you're a sellsword too, hired by the same person or perhaps YOU hired her.
● Lab Rat- Being the adventurous type, she often sells herself out as a lab rat to the Thamaturge and Alchemist guilds who are more than happy to see her when they need test subjects. As such she often copes with side effects from said experiments. These side effects can vary greatly. Some wear off over time while others need to be cured or reversed.
Maybe you, too, are a lab rat for hire or one of the guild members performing such experiments. Then again, perhaps you've just borne witness to the results and/or side effects from the most recent of these experiments.
