Full name is Ishaan Cresttomb, but as he was born and raised in a city where giving others your real name is practically an invite for them to hunt you down, steal from, and/or kill you, he goes by a much simpler alias: Thai. They almost died when he was four, but was saved by Braksyn, the goddess of death, who told him it wasn’t their time to die yet. The goddess gave him her blessing, which appears as a symbol on his forehead(which is hidden by their bangs most of the time), and a magic dagger used to carve runes for dark magic. Up until he met Elli, he ran a small tea shop in Kuroh- a cover-up job for his real profession- an assassin for hire. The young witch asked them to join her on her mission to deliver Marros’ egg to the Great Nest, as the dragon god had made it pretty obvious he wanted Thai to come with her. With the promise of getting paid by the witches, and maybe even Marros himself, Thai accepted the proposal. 

In this AU, Thai is clever, small, and fast in battle, often using his speed and size to slip through opponents’ attacks. Though he can barely read common, Thai is an awesome battle strategiest, especially if they involve stealth. Their main weapons are an array of daggers he keeps around his waist, but they will also use a mixture of poisons and potions to attack as well. He tends to be somewhat cautious and reserved, especially when it comes to personal information and physical touch. Thai is sarcastic as heck, often inserting little, unneeded quips into his companions conversations. They have somewhat of an aloof, 'tough guy' exterior to strangers, but this is not their true nature, and it doesn't take much for this shell to crack if you try. He is usually slow to help out others, but he can be convinced to do really anything for someone if they pay enough money. They're also a severe arachnophobic, but he LOVES snakes and other reptiles.
