He/Him

Timber is a mix of several different species, mainly human and dryad, but he also has some siren ancestry. He has the ability to 'speak' to plants and transfer energy to them. However, there is a limit to this ability, as he only has so much energy in his body. Thanks to his siren side, he has small gills on his neck, which allows him to breathe underwater for around a half hour. Also, he has a beautiful singing voice, but it lacks the trademark hypotonic quality. Timber first encountered the party after the trees in the Rosehand forest attacked them. He was able to save the two by calming the trees down, and later, after finding out they were delivering Marros’ egg, joined them, as he wanted to make sure the dragon god arrived to the Great Nest, safe and sound. He is attracted to Ethan, but is a bit off put by the elf’s somewhat random hostiliy towards him.

In this AU, Timber is more of a pacifist, preferring to reason with those who oppose him rather than fighting. However, if he is forced to, he will fight to defend those he cares about. In battle, he‘s somewhat ‘gentle’, preferring to trap and disarm opponents rather than hurting them. He’s really just a big softie at heart and wants to do his best to help his friends, family, and the world. He is also laid back and kind of goofy, casually joking around with the rest of the party in order to cheer them up when they’re feeling down. He also is somewhat of a musical soul, as he has a passion for singing and percussion.
