Basics
Maíz is the eldest son of a big lilty family who owns a food place/inn. He wanted to make himself stronger to protect his family, but now he really wishes to become an alfitarian guard to be stronger than ever and protect everybody.
Overall he is a sunshine boy! He is always looking on the bright side of things. He surely believes he will become the strongest lilty of the world with the poopiest weapon and armor. He trusts people more than Nadia does, and he acts like a big brother to her, even if he is too naive.
His braid was made by Lu Nee. Don’t you ever try to unbraid his sprouts or I will cry. Maíz wears a kitchen cooking pot in his head, he only sees half of things. His gauntlets are heavy as fuck and he wears a pijama behind his armor.

The new neighbor looks exactly like him and wants to know him better! Although Maíz never expected Marheim to be so shy and helps to befriend Nadia.
Tipa Flashbacks [ ft. Irving & Nadia ]
Maíz and Irving are excited to join the Tipa caravan, but the later is unsure of his decisions.
Maíz meets new friends at the tavern [ ft. Luu Ne, Ru, Fox & Ashton ]
Maíz enters the Marr's Pass tavern and meets new friends!
Camping in Marr’s Pass outskirts with an selvat offer [ ft. Fox & Maíz ]
Maíz invites Fox to his camping site and hopes Nadia accepts him in the party.
Running for chucks of silver [ ft. Rin ]
Maíz is commissionated to get some chucks of silver in Mushroom forest and encounters a dark magician named Rin. They have struggles defeating the Malboro.

After defeating Malboro, Maíz and Rin go to eat some roasted potatoes. In the way they met the caravaners Eph and Tinni.
Camping in Marr’s Pass outskirts part 2 [ ft. Nadia ]
Maíz and Nadia decide to leave Marr's Pass.
The Alfitaria’s Magitech Blacksmith [ ft. Kaeko, Nadia & Aither ]
Finally Maíz and Nadia arrive the big city of Alfitaria. Maíz goes to find a job in the castle while Nadia associates with a magitech blacksmith.
The lilty duel [ ft. Lantana, Aither & Rin ]
Maíz gets in duel after he tries to defend one of his co-workers. Lantana defeats him when Maíz gets suffocated with his Alfitarian guard helm.

For a brief moment, Maíz joins Nadia and Kaeko's booth.
Sweet myrrh syrup [ ft. Lantana, Soo Yun, Rami, Erick, Ezra & Aither ]
Lantana doesn't recognize Maíz because of his bucket in a tavern and invites him to her caravan. In the process they dare themselves to drink some myrrh of her town's chalice.

Maíz gives up on his guard job to join the Tequis caravan. Sadly he has to leave Nadia in Alfitaria for her good.

Aither discovers what's behind Maíz' bucket. Maíz begs for his silence before Lantana discovers the truth.
The frozen side of Veo Lu [ ft. Irving, Lantana, Aither & Rin ]
Maíz mets Irving again. Unfortunately Aither gets hurt and Irving falls in a river. Since Maíz can't do too much, he asks Rin for help.
Rin's Letter [ ft. Rin ]
After Irving's incident, Maíz approaches Rin and they talk about memory loss. Maíz feels like he's missing something everytime he gets in distress.
Training: Dance training! [ ft. Aither & Lantana ]
Maíz becomes Aither's master and teaches him his battling secrets.
A Moggen friend [ ft. Moggen, Ezra & Penny ]
Maíz goes out for a night to find orichalcum and helps a moogle to get out of Goblin Lair. When they are in a pinch they are supported by Ezra.
Literally a date [ ft. Penny ]
Maíz is so oblivious to love that he doesn't find out a girl is in love with him.
The Misty Kilanda Episode [ ft. Lantana & Aither ]
Maíz' bucket fells off by an accident in the worst possible scene. Lantana fights him to dead.

- Pint-Sized powerhouse: He's shorter than average, but strong.
- Fearless foul: But fears for anyone else.
- Trauma-Induced Amnesia: He tells Irving that he doesn't remember what happened the night Nadia had an accident when they were younger. Maíz also confesses to Rin that he doesn’t quite remember when there’s a hurtful incident in his life. And so on tells Rin that he doesn’t remember her accident when fighting Malboro back in the Mushroom forest.
- Adult Fear: He is truly concerned when someone gets hurt in battle. He tends to forget about it but the worryness feelings always come back.
- My greatest Failure: He was responsible for Nadia's past accident when they were younger. He promises Nadia’s father to take care of her daughter after what happened.
- Unskilled, but Strong: He is banned from his family kitchen. Although he carries stuff with this father.
- Living Emotional Crutch: Maíz is Nadia's emotional crutch. Nadia's memories often make her sad because her background family is a mess. Maíz' solution to her problems is to distract her.
- Big Brother Instinct: He’s the oldest sibling of his family and takes care of Nadia and Irving as they were his siblings.
- Bilingual Bonus: All members of his family speaks spanish fluently.

- Would Hit a Girl: Fought with Lantana multiple times and would go on because he praises her battle abilities.
- Oblivious to Love: Penny seems to have a small crush on him, but Maíz doesn’t notice at all until she confesses.
- Broken Pedestal: As much as he liked to be in Tequis caravan he felt utterly disappointed when Lantana didn’t forgive him for a lie from 2 years ago.
- Day Hurts Dark-Adjusted Eyes: He has difficulties seeing at day without his bucket-helm.
