A Sin contains two souls in their body: the Sin itself, and the owner of the body it resides in.
When these souls synchronize, their strongest powers are created. It is important for the Sin and its Host to be compatible.
The reason Nikolai is so powerful compared to the other Sins is that he and Sloth are completely in sync. Whether it's from Sloth's lack of care or joining himself to Nikolai's cause, they are 100% united, which gives him absolute full strength.
When Nikolai is in this state he's playing to win. He can summon this form and dismiss it at will, though if he is enraged then it will come automatically.
In this state:
- He sports black horns and a forked tail to match
- The scleras of his eyes are black and irises white with a black ring
- His fingers are slightly clawed with blackened tips
- His hair is straight with black tips
- Black markings run down from his eyes to his cheek, looking like reversed crosses
- Large, leathery wings float behind his back yet are not connected. They are the wings of Chastity, ripped out during one of Nikolai's rages
- When like this, his strength and speed are far greater, yet defense remains the same- weak.
- His Mist has significantly improved. Being touched by it in this state will render all five senses null. People have compared it to be suspended in a void-like state, granted their senses whenever Nikolai's about to attack. Being able to counter/attack him will stop the Mist's effect.
- In this form is Complete Apathy - Nikolai will take you to a dream-like dimension and attack you with large claws. He will attempt to grab your head, and if he succeeds he will rip the soul from the body and sever their connection. This will leave his opponent unable to use their body, but their soul still trapped in it.
