At first glance, Alexei seems quiet and reserved due to his composed nature, but he's very open with his opinions and ideas. He has high standards, which makes him quite judgmental. He prefers to be stoic  because he's used to being around hot-headed people and wants to set himself apart from them, but his temper often gets the better of him, despite trying to tame it over the years. 

As a dancer, Alexei is very dedicated to practicing. He is far less patient with people, however.  He likes to follow the rules and respect authority....except for when he doesn't agree with them, then he can't shut his big mouth!  

He's very serious about what he does and isn't much of a joker himself, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like to have a good time. He doesn't want people to get in the way of his future by distracting him or frustrating him. However, he doesn't like being alone either.

History

Alexei is the product of a union between gangs. His father is a part of a Russian mafia family, and his mother was born into another. Their marriage settled a feud and united the two groups. His parents settled down a bit, so that Alexei would have a mostly normal childhood. However, their gang connections are still strong. Due to this, his family has always been wealthy, and Alexei grew up with a few nannies looking after him.

Since they've set aside their pasts to focus on their future, aka Alexei, they both try to live vicariously through him. His mother wants him to experience the world, and his father wants him to succeed his place in the mafia. They weren't great influences on his life; either being too controlling or neglectful. This caused Alexei to act out as a kid and he feels like it matured him early in life. Sometimes though, he doesn't realize how spoiled he was a kid, so he can be a bit of a brat without realizing it.

He did enjoy the artistic opportunities his privileged upbringing allowed him though. He started dancing at the age of ten to keep himself occupied, and his parents provided him with a professional coach. Then he went to a prestigious ballet school at his mother's suggestion and reformed his technique and passions for dance. Alexei is now a professional ballerina, travelling with his cast. He's trying to stay away from his parent's gang life and enjoy what he's built up for himself. However, gangs seem to just be drawn to him. 

For a long time, Alexei was disinterested in everything except for dance, but slowly, he's begun to enjoy more aspects of life.

  • The scar on his cheek came from a fight at school. When he was younger, he got in many fights over the years. He refused to talk about them to his parents or anyone, so his parents insisted for him to study elsewhere. He was an angry child and didn't know how else to express himself, but dance helped a little.
