Rye is the first Birdeer I ever created. I kept him for myself as a little mascot character. Rye has "bigger than you" syndrome where he thinks he can take on anyone or anything. When he feels threatened or insulted he puffs himself up and keeps his beak high to look twice his size! Usually it doesn't work and only makes people and creatures alike giggle at the display. Which of course only ruffles his feathers even more...
