Miriel is the logical and wise one of the group. Like most other night elves, she does not express most of her emotions openly. As a princess, she was especially required to keep a level head and an open mind. If she doesn’t know the answer to something, she knows exactly where to find the information she needs. She has proper etiquette, is respectful, and greatly values responsibility and tradition.
Although she may not show it most of the time, she loves and appreciates each and every one of her friends. She has the honest opinion that all of her friends are capable of and destined for great things. To strangers, she can seem cold and closed-off. She can also be brutally honest, not really knowing if she hurts somebody’s feelings or not. She is very much a perfectionist, as she feels the need to get everything right and to keep everything in its proper place. Miriel strives to be confident and precise in everything she does. Despite being best friends with a very outgoing person, Miriel greatly values privacy and because of this she can seem quite secretive.

Miriel is the princess of the Night-Elf Kingdom (unnamed). Night elves live within a dense dark forest, hidden from plain sight. Her family consists of her father, King Zephor, her mother, Queen Ale’ia, and her older brother, Prince Ziann. Normally, night elves do not have inborn magical abilities, but Miriel was granted her fairy powers by the moon spirit (unnamed) when she was a child. When she received her powers, she was honored to take on the responsibility of becoming a guardian fairy for her kingdom.
Miriel’s best friend as a child was Tharen It’Tan, the son of her parent's royal advisor. She and Tharen spent much time together until they were 7, when their kingdom was attacked by Draxxia's followers. Tharen and his family disappeared after the attack and never returned. Some time later, Emory's family moved to the kingdom. Emory instantly tried to form a connection with Miriel, but Miriel kept pushing her away. She was hurt after what happened with Tharen and didn't want to get close to anyone else. After some time, Miriel was convinced by Emory to talk with her and they eventually became friends.
When she became of age to attend Alfea, she asked Emory to accompany her. Her roommates there were Ashley, Constance, Rosaline, and Emory.
During the start-of-the-year celebration at Alfea, Miriel was shocked to find that Tharen was there as a new Red Fountain student. He was equally shocked upon seeing her. He went to talk to her, but she attempted to leave in a hurry to think. Emory helped convince her to talk to him and when she did she asked him why he left. He explained himself and they talked things out.
- Her hair goes below her knees.
- Her natural hair color is indigo. When she is tranformed, it turns white.
- She always wears her tiara. She also usually wears her earrings (a stud, a small hoop, and another stud in that order) near the tips of her ears.

Miriel appreciates a more business-casual type of style. Her outfits are usually on the simpler side accented with some jewelry. The only time she wears more complex and elegant clothing is when she's going to a party or royal event.

Miriel and Tharen were childhood friends back in their kingdom, but when it was attacked Tharen's family disappeared and they weren't reunited until they attended Alfea and Red Fountain.
Upon rekindling their friendship, they began developing feelings for each other. They hit a couple of bumpy patches, but ultimately ended up in a happy relationship.
Miriel and Emory met young and became inseparable friends. She finds that Emory's spontaneous personality brings many fun adventures and appreciates having someone to talk to even though Emory ends up speaking the most.
Miriel and Ashley, both being princesses, had been briefly introduced to each other at royal council meetings but didn't get more acquainted until they became roommates at Alfea. They both have a high respect for each other and trust each other's strength and instincts.
Miriel isn't quite sure what to think about Constance. She knows she is a quiet individual and doesn't feel the need to speak with her for no reason. Still, she is secretly curious about her and wishes to get to know her better.
Miriel appreciates her shared deep sense of responsibility with Rosaline. She has gone to her on more than one occasion for advice and feels comfortable around her. Rosaline is also the only one Miriel trusts to help style her hair.
