Personality:
Coming from a positive environment like Team Aqua, April is bursting with positivity! She always looks on the bright side and believes in herself and those around her. She also may be a bit spoiled, fairly used to being doted on by her parents and their team. The amount of positivity may have given April too much confidence, sometimes overestimating her skills and sometimes getting herself into some troubling situations or challenges she has to work her way out of. 

April is passionate about the things she loves, often diving in headfirst. She loves to learn everything there is to know, especially when it comes to science and ocean exploration. She's very openly enthusiastic, and hopes to positively impact climate change and the environment. 

While both a strong swimmer and excellent diver, April's specialty is Mantine Surfing. When she goes to Alola, you can always count on her to aim for the highest scores!

She is born in Lilycove City; where the land ends and the sea begins.

RELATIONSHIPS
Family

Archie: Her dad, who likes to treat her like a little princess, and when she was younger, he often told her stories about the sea. He would tell her mostly fairytales, and his own tale about how he got to meet Kyogre and how that was the best and worst day of his life. He likes to tell that tale as though he were a pirate captain and Rainie was a mermaid, though. Her and her dad love to tease each other, and roughhoused when she was younger, now they mostly spar it out through swim races and Pokemon battles. She's his little scamp, and she wouldn't rather it any other way!

Rainie: Due to not wanting to be like her mother one bit, Rainie tried to be the best mom she possibly could, which is part of why April may be so spoiled. But above anything, she wanted to show her little girl that she was loved and cherished. She was always sure to pull herself away from her work to give April the love and attention that she needed. When April gets old enough, she helps her mom with some of the work to help lighten the load off her mom's shoulders.

Shelly & Matt: Though not related by blood, April considers them family- they're like an aunt and uncle to her.

Team Aqua: She loves everyone on the team, and they dote on her. Honestly everyone spoils her a little and she loves it. It's rare that she's seen bored; when someone is busy, she can always find another member willing to keep her company! When she was younger, they would always let her win the water gun fights.

Mudkip ♀
Though April was surrounded by her parents' Pokemon growing up, Mudkip was her very first partner. The two love to play in the rain together, and love trips to the beach. Although they're unsure when Showers' birthday actually is, as a child, April dictated it was the same day as hers, so they can dance in the april showers together

Mantyke → Mantine ♀

After discovering her love for Mantine Surfing at a young age, April sought out one of her own, starting off with a Mantyke. The two trained together often, and have learned all the tricks! They love to surf the ocean waves as much as possible, and become masters at the sport.

Poochyena was hatched from an egg that Archie and Rainie's Mightyena had. April thinks it's the cutest thing when Poochyena cuddles up close to her parents, especially when April is cuddling up with her own.

April adores Prism, remembering the story of how Luvdisc swarmed her parents, and how her dad caught the one who lingered behind to gift her mom. Prism represents her parents' endless love. It makes her dream of finding her own true love one day.
