Profile
Braveheart is a marbled brown tom with earthy green eyes. He has a fluffy and bulky appearance. His fur is soft like feathers like most Drifters cats, though it still looks like normal fur. His wings, like the rest of his body, are exceptionally fluffy and look more like a birds' wings. His paws are also off, he doesn't have long thick claws, just normal cat paws with average sized claws. He also has big ears, something he's not very proud of. He has a few scars on him, the most noticeable being one on his shoulder.
He looks scary, but in reality, he's a big softie. You can often find him with his few friends happy and very caring. Either that or by himself, very quiet and the like.
Braveheart is a extremely sweet and innocent cat. He's been known to help out just about anyone and anything regardless if he gets anything out of it. Alongside this, he's very courageous and brave, hence his name. Though he doesn't do all of this just because he wants to, he does it because he wants to prove his worth to those who hurt him. He's always been quiet growing up for this reason, not really finding any reason to talk to others unless they wanted to talk to him.
Even though he's kind, he still has his moments where he can snap. He gets frustrated at himself very easily if he can't do something right the first time due to his low self-esteem. He tries his best to show confidence around others, but it's all just a play. He doesn't actually feel confident about himself, he only feels good when he's helping others. This causes him to be manipulated quite easily.
- NOMENCLATURE
- Name β Given to him as he survived hours alone as a kit.
- He never knew his mother, he can hardly even remember what she sounded like. Just a black pelt and a strange smell.
- His shoulder scar was from fighting a fox.
- Quicksnare is distantly related to Braveheart and Everest, though he is more closely related to Everest.
- Quicksnare comes from a RP server I'm hosting, Decaying Realities, that is a prequel to Colliding Worlds.
- He has a big scar on his shoulder. He has other scars, but they aren't very noticeable due to his fur.
- You can see his feathers more clearly on his neck when he gets spooked.
- His paws are the same color as his nose.
Braveheart was abandoned by his mom after he opened his eyes. All he ever remembered was a black pelt, a color he's now not very fond of. A Breezeclan patrol found him and took him in. Griffinstar, having her last litter, raised him as her own. She named him Braveheart for surviving on his own for those few hours. The tom didn't know much about groups or how they worked. They'd bully him for his 'deformations' like his strange wings, paws, and big ears. Griffinstar would soon learn about this teasing and scold them. They learned eventually to only do it when she wasn't looking and this behavior continued until they were apprentices. Griffinstar apprenticed Bravepaw, but this didn't stop their assault on him. In fact it'd get worse now that she looked over him more often.
One day, on a patrol with the rest of his group, a fox appeared and attacked the them. The patrol was very wounded and Braveheart was the only one left who could defend them properly. After getting a deep scar on his shoulder, something strange happened. It was almost as if he was possessed, for he knew fighting moves he'd never known before. He was also very messy and agressive, not like he usually was. In the end, the fox was killed by him and he was only left with that single shoulder wound.
Upon coming back to camp, cats were scared of him, including all of the cats who had bullied him. Out of all of the cats who were severely injured, he was the only one who was pretty much unscaved. He would become very isolated in the clan after that and no one really seemed to like him. He was frustrated, he didn't have anyone left, not even Griffin, who also seemed to be uncomfortable around him.
It wasn't until a few weeks did he really find out what happened that day. In his dreams, he met a cat, a dead cat, and his name was Quicksnare. He told him he would've died on that day the fox attacked him, but he wanted to help him, for he wanted to be his friend. He saw so much potential in the young tom that others didn't see. Braveheart belived every word he said, taking in every word with a happiness he hadn't felt in a long time.
While out on a walk at night, he met an Ethereal cat named Eclipse who talked about things he'd never heard of before. Despite what Quick Snare had told him, he was interested and wanted in on her investigation.
I'll keep this short as to not spoil the story!
Eclipse is now on full alert, looking for anything on the Gods. She starts with her own territory of couse, using excuses like looking for prey or checking the borders. The only thing she'd found out was that something happened bad almost 100 years ago and that one of their ancestors was named Blazing Moon.
She figured she'd find more on the other territories, so she went to Ecstasy to ask her, but she said no, that it was too dangerous. Eclipse, being the stubborn way she was, escaped at night to The Drifter's territory. There, she would run into a squire named Braveheart. Strangely enough, he wasn't very aggressive to her, which was weird since The Ethereals weren't allies anymore.
The two would become friends pretty quickly, Braveheart following her around and listening to her ramble about The Seven. Upon hearing about her mission, he agreed to help her immediately. Eclipse would go on to meet two other cats who would help her, Inferno and Fright.
Little did they know, they'd be getting themselves into something way bigger than them.
Friend
"He's a fun guy! I've never met someone so motivated at making themselves stronger, but I welcome it! I appreciate someone with as much passion as him and I really hope he doesn't end up getting hurt - haha!"
Braveheart love having Fright's company. He really enjoys showing him battle moves and exercises to make him stronger. He really enjoys Fright as a friend and would do anything to protect him.
Friend
"She gets things done fast and easy. Man if only I could do that! I always get stuck on one thing for several hours before finding out the solution! Just - uh - leave the planning to her."
He respects her a lot. Eventhough Inferno can't breathe fire like everyone else can, he still finds her very reliable and quite interesting. He's glad that even with her short temper, she's found a friend in Eclipse, even if she's not too kind with everyone else.
Best Friend
"Her stories are really cool! I sometimes have no idea what she's talking about, but that's what makes it fun! Like sorting feathers! Was that a good anagy - or whatever?"
Eclipse and Braveheart are very close friends. Due to Braveheart being a tad bit slow, he doesn't always understand what Eclipse is talking about, but he does his best to listen. His favorite part about Eclipse is the fact that she never gives up on her mission and will do her best to complete it. And he's more than happy to help.
