Dune

They/Them

My first character for the Lost Island rp. They formerly had an abusive trainer who caused their muteness in an attempt to kill them. Dune escaped in a roundabout way, ending up washed out to sea and ultimately to the lost island, where they met Pheonix. Today, the two are inseparable. Dune's left ear is nicked and they wear an Ever Stone attached by vines around their left arm. Dune also has deep scars on their neck. Because they are mute, they typically communicate by Kanto Sign Language. However, they’ll also communicate by writing, gesturing, or drawing pictures if the other Pokemon isn’t fluent or a translator like Phoenix isn’t around. Dune also has some medical skills and serve as a healer for the Protector’s Guild. They are very friendly and sweet, though they are more shy around humans, due to their past experiences with them.
