Kayda’s mother was a sorcerer that ended up doing something terrible, which caused her to go to the underworld and Kayda to be cursed to turn into a dragon. Her first times doing this weren’t easy and she still has hard time with it. She befriended Quilo and Taiga and together they sold winter wolf spikes and became her best friends. She learned to hate the royal family and all that it stood for until later, she met Princess Aruna who loved her for who she is. She's still trying to deal with the whole "falling in love with a princess" situation..
