Virvel

Destined to become the next Little Mermaid, Virvel wanted to rebel against the idea as soon as she saved her prince-to-be. By saving him, she no longer has an interest in becoming a human like the Little Mermaids before her. She loves humans, human culture, and loves the prince (in a platonic way), but she realizes that doesn't love them enough to give up her mermaid life just because her fate said so. Due to her strong desire to flee her fate the Fairy Tale Fates punished her by transforming her into a siren. Imprinting a whirlpool on her tail to represent the damages she will do to mankind because of her changed species. Now fated to kill sailors that cross a certain territory with her singing, she is overwhelmed with guilt and nightmares because of her unintended killing of the human species whom she loves and respects. She's very stubborn and will not stop at nothing to do the things that she believes in. Whenever humans are around her, she tries to restrain herself from getting too near them because of her fear of unintentionally killing more of them. When she's with other species, she becomes happy-go-lucky and does her best to make everyone smile. She loves her family and the human species with all her heart.
