life in silverpeak

Elara was born and raised in Silverpeak, the neighboring city to Basinshire. Back in her hometown, Elara would always look out for the villagers in her town, often taking care of the elderly and younger children when they need any help. The villagers love her for her kind heart and would oftentimes gift her items in return for her help. She was always fascinated with the thought of using her light energy to help others in any way she could. What made Elara really interested in being a mage was when she was around eight years old. She stumbled upon a book with a flashy, yet detailed cover. Once she opened it she fell in love with magic and what one could do with light energy. Since then, Elara always had books related to both magic and light energy surrounding her wherever she went. She later told her parents after a year of studying that she was interested in being a light mage. Her parents weren't really in favor of the idea as they had already planned to one day make arrangements for an arranged marriage. Elara was against the idea and went against her parents for the first time. After some arguing, she managed to get them to give up on the plan. Though they still felt that it was too dangerous to send her out. Elara was hardworking so earning her parent's trust wasn't as hard as she thought.

At the age of thirteen, Elara finally moved to Basinshire, the capital located in the Kingdom of Noressea. In order to pursue her dreams of becoming an official state mage, she attended a mage school in the capital, with her parents financially supporting her. Luckily for her, the mage school had dorms for her to stay in and attending class wasn't so hard. Although it was tough, she still had fun attending everyday. Elara didn't know she had so much potential in being able to get one of the highest grades in class. Other than being good at solving theoretical questions, Elara was a pretty exceptional student when it comes to channeling her light energy. With how well she was doing, It made her strive even more to become someone her parents could be proud of.

Around her third year of mage high school, seventeen year old Elara was actively participating in whatever she could get into. At that time, she got the idea to participate in volunteer work and was responsible for some recruits. She was able to get a lot of participants, however she had only one spot left to fill and the deadline was approaching. After writing down a completely random and 'almost comical' name and handing it over to her instructor, she was asked to look for the person. It turned out to be that there was actually someone with the name "Stephen J. Winchester". First, she was shocked to have come up with such a name and second, she would really be in trouble for lying. Trying to get someone who didn't have a say in anything to join volunteer work would be a challenge. Elara didn't even know what they looked like. However, after searching for a whole day, she finally got enough information on what year he was in and where he would usually hangout. So, Elara went up to the school's rooftop and found the guy laying down, presumably taking a nap. There were plenty of ways to approach him, yet Elara walked up to him, quickly told him to follow her and dragged him over to the instructor's office. She felt kind of guilty but explained everything to him after they left the office. Stephen didn't like it one bit but went along with it anyway since Elara agreed to owe it up to him after. He started warming up to the idea and they both enjoyed the time they had together, later hanging out more often. However, that time was rather short as Stephen was a fourth year student graduating in the current semester. Before Stephen graduated, Elara confessed her love for him and he accepted her confession. Though it hadn't been long since then, Stephen was hit with unfortunate news from the king and other authorized higher ups, to leave the country and live under a different name. It was his choice over being executed behind the public's eye. He told Elara everything that had happened and promised her that they would meet again. Right before leaving, he told her his new name would be "Caelum".
