Dane is one of three members of the previous big adventuring party, alongside Valencia and Coen Kanar. He used to serve as the bodyguard for the God of Whispers until their death.
Personality
Immovable fucking rock with a strong moral compass and stubborn as hell. He is resolute and determined, aiming to accomplish his goals no matter what.
Dane's speech is terse and direct, often to the point of rudeness. When dealing with people who annoy her or with strangers, she can become overtly hostile and threatening.
Although he may also be curt with those he cares about, his actions show that he looks out for them, revealing his underlying concern despite his harsh demeanor. More often than not, Dane prefers to let his actions or facial expressions do the talking.
Appearance
In their human-ish form, they appear as a young person in their twenties with pale skin and short blonde hair styled into a mullet. They have long pointed eyebrows and yellow eyes with white pupils. They are of average height and have an athletic build. An empty halo that glows faintly yellow hovers behind their head.
Her spellwork, with which she was created, glows faintly yellow and is much neater than that of other non-angel characters. (For the record, spellwork can be drawn very simply with random straight lines as runes, though in-universe they have specific shapes for different effects.)
They have an athletic style and usually wear dark, tight-fitting clothing on their upper body and light, loose-fitting pants, paired with some work boots. They are also seen wearing armor and belts as statement pieces.
In their angel form, they have completely white eyes, and their hair grows much longer, taking on the qualities of fire. They have at least three pairs of wings and wear a suit of armor.

History
Dane was created in order to protect the God of Whispers, thus given a powerful body and spellwork to control fire. She had been safeguarding them for centuries until one day she left them alone with Coen, another angel in the god's service. Upon her return, she found the god dead, with Coen clearly being the culprit.
After some shenanigans where Dane, Coen, and Valencia teamed up, they solved the mystery of the god’s death and addressed the issue of angels being enslaved. Afterwards, they all moved to the overworld and built new lives there. Valencia and Coen even started a family with the birth of Aya, while Dane became a monster hunter.
Abilities
Angels/Enochians, serve as literal servants of inner gods and are created through a spell. They do not experience childhood, but manifest fully formed as adults for a specific purpose, akin to robots (…that are sentient). Each inner god must have at least one angel to be recognized as a true god. Angels more or less have two forms.
As an angel, Dane is functionally immortal and doesn’t age, which is shown with them being centuries old despite looking young. They have immense strength and speed, can create fire, and wield any weapon with proficiency.
