Lorelei is a young woman of about 17 years old. Until about a year before our story begins, she was raised by her mother, Avarice, as an elite soldier and personal bodyguard. She was rescued from this situation by her uncle, Jax. Due to this training, Lorelei is an incredibly effective fighter, having full control over her skill to summon energy blades around her arms. However, she grew up with few friends, and her mother saw her more as a tool than a daughter. Her social skills are therefore not the greatest, and it took her a long time to warm up to Rowan and Xavier. She despises those who she sees as weak and indecisive, resentful of their apparent fortune to not have to experience the same things she did. Despite this, her experiences with the rest of the Flightless cast will help her not only heal some of this trauma, but change her outlook on the world.
Lorelei is loud and rowdy, taking great joy in sparring with others and getting up to mischief. In this way, she takes after her uncle, Jax, whom she loves dearly. However, these actions deeply concern her aunt, Anne, who thinks she could be heading down the same path of darkness as her mother. Lorelei often picks on Xavier, as he is an easy target. Eventually, Xavier confronts her, and having earned her respect, Lorelei opens up to him about her past, and the two are able to reconcile to a degree. Lorelei comes to regret the way she treated Xavier, but struggles to know how to make it up to him. Lorelei respects Rowan's abilities on the battlefield, and his ability to juggle many extracurriculars and other activities, but often doesn't listen to him when he asks her to stop bullying Xavier.
- Lorelei should have a visibly athletic/somewhat muscular build.
- She has two vampire-like fangs.
- Though she had no official schooling, she is great at logistics and math. She hates reading.
- She is CRACKED at almost every shooter and racing game. She would main Donkey Kong in Mario Kart and Soldier in TF2.
- Her resemblance to Power from CSM is unintentional (she was first designed in early 2018, inspired by a girl I knew in real life.)
Uncle
Jax
Lorelei's beloved uncle. He acts as a mentor to Lorelei, though his advice isn't always the best... Lorelei relies on him a lot, and sees him as way more of a parent than her mother ever was.
Aunt
Anne
Lorelei's aunt. Anne tries to guide Lorelei away from her aggression, but Lorelei just thinks she's a huge stick in the mud. Deep down, though, they truly love each other as family, even if Lorelei won't show it.
Rival..?
Xavier
Lorelei's... friend? She despised Xavier at first for his weakness (and because she was jealous of the bond he had with Anne). However, after a confrontation, the two learn to respect each other, and even become friends of some sort.
