Despite having a lifespan of 900 years, longer than most non-dragon species, Jay doesn’t actually mind making non-dragon friends and having a connection with them unlike most of the dragons in his hometown, who might not want to befriend other species because of lifespan differences. He’s very outgoing and loves to make friends.

Right now, he’s usually seen hanging out with Zeru and stopping him from doing anything too stupid. The two like to explore a lot.

Jay can fly but his speed isn’t all that incredible- in land nor air. He’s constantly working on his flying speed and trying to get faster at traveling around, while still being able to focus on his surroundings.

History:

When he was younger, kids Jay’s age would always talk about how they wouldn’t want to connect with other species because of their lifespan differences. He understood their concern, but he personally didn't want to live his life in isolation nor limit himself to just his species and avoid possible new friends just because of dying later in life. He thought that was a bit of a harsh way to live. Death is a normal thing, and while it would be sad for him to see all his friends die before him, he still wants to live his life to the fullest and not dwell on the past. What matters to him is that he enjoyed his time with his old friends, and that he has made them smile while he could. Besides, he knows he’ll see them again.
