quiet and withdrawn, also extremely polite. teru comes from a wealthy family that owns multiple businesses, but he tries to not make it obvious with how he acts. employed at his mother's company, but has a lot of time off since he mainly does paperwork and attends virtual meetings. uhh he looks good in a suit hh

+ due to spending entire days almost every day in aquariums ever since he was young, he gets free admission and is able to go into worker restricted areas. The workers are like family to him

Relationships
Marlowe [ soulmate ]
first and only friend in primary school; reason why Teru wasn't home schooled and enjoyed leaving his house. After returning from Japan, Teru found Marlowe and quickly rebuilt their relationship. The two mainly hang out at Teru's house, with Marlowe lying around doing nothing and Teru fretting over him. Teru calls Marlowe by his Japanese name, "Takashi" and they converse using a mix of Japanese and English. basically platonic soulmates
Ari [ acquaintance ]
a fellow business inheritor, but also a bit of a competitor. doesn't know much about her at first, but hangs out with her and Levi when Marlowe wants. mainly professional relationship
Akihito [ step cousin ]
a bit awkward around him, maybe intimidated because of his intense personality and fashion. but acts as an older brother, offering advice to akihito. also has to deal with his trouble and chaotic behavior even if they live across the world from one another
Akiko [ step cousin ]
essentially same as akihito since the two twins act as if they're one person. but i think she might have more people skills than akihito, so might have a deeper relationship
