About
An unthreatening cryptid of the southeastern woodlands and marshes, Bo is consdiered a walking contradiction. This is through how he's known, as he's considered rare for being both a banshee and a caretaker. In places where banshees are seen only as monsters, he has to frequently change his migration route to avoid people trying to find and catch him. However, in places where banshees are treated as normal citizens, he's become a well-loved urban legend, and one that reminds newcomers that banshees care for each other as much as people do. His existence is valuable as banshees continue to integrate into society and make it known that they shouldn't have to integrate to survive.
The interesting thing about Bo that's made him worth consdiering is that he's a nomadic banshee who's built a habit of taking in half-banshees who couldn't be taken care of by their parents. Most nomads preper to keep to and only care for themselves, only meeting up with potential suiters in rare intervals and actively caring for their children for only about ten years. It's a thing that works for banshees, but half-banshees are different, and a lot more work. Additionally, they're difficult for non-banshee parents to care for, especially in communities that have no love for the species. As a result, Bo's care for the young is seen as him being a protector, a guardian, and more of a creature of love than one embodied by fear.
Bo values his culture and his upbringing. he has no desire to live in urban areas and no intention to settle down for any reason... outside of the survival of the kids he's taking care of. When a politician loudly put a number on his head for living in the woods they were hunting in, Abby took him in, intending to keep him safe until he was presumed deceased and the bounty was removed. However, this meant bringing him and the children he was currently caring for into the city, and having him work under her as an employee. The experience has been valuable for him to learn about how other parts of the world does things, but he never wanted to know that and being in the city tires and frusterates him. He took the first chance he got to leave, once again for the children's safety, and doesn't intend to go back to that life if he can help it.

Likes
Caring for Others Specifically other banshees, but he isn't exclusive. He finds that everyone deserves to have a chance to florish, especially people who are struggling. Though he can't help monetarily, his assiatnce comes in how he's able to give others rest and physical assistance.
The Wilderness To Bo, the natural world is the best state the world can be in. He values all types of bugs, animals, and plants... when they're not invasive species. He enjoys foraging for food, and tries to use every part of anything he hunts.
Psychology Though he doesn't consider the word psychology, Bo is very interested in what makes people tick and how their minds work. Especially after spending so much time around thieves and crooks when under Abby's employ.
Nomadic Life Cities have too many people for him, and villages are too invasive-- not to mention the pollution and how cooped up he feels. If he could spend the rest of his life traveling through the wild, he would do so gladly. Especially when he trusts and cares for the people who follow him so much.
Dislikes
City Life The "hustle and bustle" of city life is incredibly exhausting for him. It wears him out fast and leaves him with a rotten taste in his mouth, and he hates how it feels like communities are seperated between the haves and have-nots, when everyone could be helping each other. Also, money doesn't make any sense to him.
Pollution The world is vast, but everyone lives on it! Whatever is dumped into the world will come back and affect the people living on it, even the smog that is made by the New Morsept factories, or the trash finding itself in the Lecuig swampland. He cleans up litter where he can, at least.
Mercenary Work If he could just get a job at a cafe or something when Abby was harboring, he would. However, the bounty on his head is making his city experience go from bad to worse as now the only way he can really make money safely is... crime. He finds it annoying and tiresome.
People A bit of an over-exaggeration-- Bo is annoyed at how people who live in civilizations see him and creatures like him. Since that reflects on how they act toward him, it's become a bit of a resentment toward people before he gets to know them.
- Despite his generally kind nature, Bo does not believe in giving the benefit of the doubt. Especially since it could cost him his life. The only way to get him to trust you right off the bat is if you're vetted by the kids he's caring for.
- Bo learned how to cook and prepare foods both from his own mother and from when he lived in the city. He prefers the methods he learned in the woods, but he's willing to concede on occasion if there's anything the kids prefer.
- While living in the city, he developed a bit of a coffee and nicotine addiction. Now that he's back in the wilderness, it's a couple of the only things he personally looked into finding for himself in the wild. He doesn't want to talk about it, but he likes feeling like he had the energy to do things.

Strengths
Cursed Wail Like many nomadic banshees, Bo's emotions made real can curse people unlucky enough to be in the area. It doesn't work on other banshees, or even most half-banshees. However, people have a 24 hour clock once the cursed is place, and it can be progressively shortened depending on Bo's whims.

"Fangs"
As someone who has encountered and had friendly connections with vampires in the past, Bo finds the brooding vampire of the team to be somewhat disturbing. He knows that vampires are capable of having a good life that makes them happy, and doesn't understand why this one is struggling so much. He originally assumed it had something to do with him having the body of a child, but after spending time with him, he's just understood less.
"Pyrite"
Abby's borderline second-in-command, Roxie is the other heavyhitter of the team. When she first heard that Bo was another ace up the team's sleeve, she wanted to spar with him and it had to be quickly clarified that his screams could literally kill people. While they work well as coworkers, this initial misunderstanding has made them struggle to connect personally. Roxie was a little embaressed by the whole exchange, and neither of them really have anything they can talk about.
Even when it comes to talking about family, Bo struggles when trying to connect with Roxie because she tends leave the conversation when the topic comes up. Bo doesn't know why, and has just given up at this point. He leaves her alone, she leaves him alone, and Bo finds that's the best way for it to be.
"Trapper"
Josie was very young when they first took him in, and Bo did what he could to give her a paternal figure. It turns out that she had recently lost her family, and he's doing his best.
Ialtóg
The oldest of Bo's adopted half-banshee kids that he was worried couldn't live on their own in the wild. Now quickly approaching maturity, Ialtóg is working hard to ensure that he could care for himself and his adopted siblings if the need arose. Bo works hard to help train Ialtóg, and sees him more of a brother than a son, but worries that his outgoing and trusting nature will be the death of him.
Ceo
One he understood he'd have to take care of for the rest of her life, an understanding he accepted. He worries for her frequently and tends to helicopter on occasion, but his concerns are not unfounded. Too much harsh movements-- including screaming and wailing-- could lead to her dissolving and being unable to recollect her form, effectively killing her. He loves her dearly and works hard to ensure she has the same oppertunities as her sibling.
Iona
The youngest child Bo is currently watching over, the one he's the most worried about wandering off into the city. Bo is unsure if she realizes how dangerous the rest of the world percieves her as. She's a turbulant child, and he tries very hard to keep track of what her new interest this week is. When something sticks, he accepts it easily and moves on without much question. He loves her dearly, but he has bigger fish to fry.
