A soft spoken, polite young woman blossoming in her youth, with a genuine love for being a writer. Caring and encouraging, someone who can’t help but smile and socialize, her formal (if not elderly) speech can’t hide lighthearted intentions, almost kittenish on how mischievously curious she can be. It seems to take very little to get her to become comfortable with others, and can become quite the conversationalist when doing so.

Indeed, she’s portrayed as a lively little lady, in love with tales and what she does.

But make no mistakes; Elise is a misleading little thing -- if not hypocritical -- her striving for her desires often taking a turn to faulty workaholism. Her thirst for knowledge coupled with an impishly crafty nature causes her curiosity to be prying in the most roundabout of ways, secretive in what she knows and how much she’s learned. With priorities that she never allows an explanation for, she’s one to run off at the slightest bit of anxiety or interpersonal antagonism, and has mule-like neutrality that can frustrate even a saint.

Elise is able to pull written words from paper / surfaces and solidify them into tangible, touchable things for offensive or defensive purposes. As such, she carries a ‘grimoire’ that’s actually just full of words in big writing for the purpose of using words from unneeded notes. She may float them into the air, and crumble like ash-paper when she wants to destroy them.

She’s also able to mimic forms with words (IE. morphing words into the shape of a butterfly) as long as she makes the effort to funnel magic into it to keep its form. ‘Life’ can’t be created with this magic, and she can only do tiny figures at this current moment.
