Ethan

Ethan is Fortinbras' half-brother, which nobody knew until after he'd served Denmark loyally for at least a decade. That probably helped to smooth things over, right? WRONG he became a pariah overnight. He hadn't particularly cared for Norway before, but after that whole debacle he was like "alright fine screw you guys" and became a mole for Fortinbras, who was surprisingly happy to meet his brother. Unfortunately, the attack on Denmark resulted in the deaths of pretty much everyone his best friend Callisto loved. He was overcome with guilt, and exiled himself to the forest, where he lived in solitude until he met Devon. The poor kid had also done something terrible by mistake, and after bonding with her, he decided to adopt her. A year later, they found a mysterious little girl named If in the woods, and he adopted her too. After about six more years of staying in the forest, he returned to Elsinore, patched things up with Callisto and basically became a big, gruff guardian angel for the survivors.
