Tsubasa Miyazaki is the oldest of two siblings. She has a younger brother and always wanted to set a good example for him to look up to. Her parents are both Shinobi - her mother a medic and her father a bukijutsu specialist. She looked up to them both and often found herself helping them out where she could.

During her youth, Tsubasa was a very energetic kid. She was always running around, laughing, and having fun with her brother or her friends. She often heard lots of stories about the Lantern Sages of the village and was in awe of their abilities. Being able to summon an infinite amount of lanterns with such ease and grace. She dreamed of joining them so she could do the same. After graduating to become a genin, Tsubasa didn’t realize how hard she would have to work to accomplish her goal. When she did, she decided to set her mind to it anyways, if she couldn't accomplish her dream then what was the point?

As time went on, Tsubasa felt she wasn’t sure what exactly she wanted. She wanted to become a Lantern Sage, but apart from that, she didn’t know. After she ventured to Kosetsumura and the Masked Men invaded the village, she decided she just wanted to lift people’s spirits up. Seeing how upset people were between the incidents, having something to smile about wasn’t a bad idea. So she set a loftier goal to become someone that could bring comfort to others. Through an array of illusions or anything to take your mind off whatever was bothering you to just being there for the people that mattered to her.

Personality

Tsubasa is a kind girl who wants to help people. Having a genuine interest in wanting to help better people’s moods and lives even just a smidge. She got her happy-go-lucky attitude from her parents and takes a lot of inspiration from them as well. If anything, she motivates herself to want to make them proud. She tends to always be optimistic about any situation, regardless of the outcome. She knows her positive nature can be annoying but doesn’t try to let it bother her too much. Sometimes you need a bright light to wash away the darkness around you.

She’s also quite the busybody. Preferring to keep her hands and mind busy and knowing that there’s always something to do. She doesn’t deal all too well with having to idle or sit still. If she’s able, she’ll fidget with her belongings - whether counting that they’re all accounted for or even sharpen them with a whetstone. She’ll even write out a to-do list on a notebook if she feels doing the former isn’t enough.

All in all, she’s kind, highly motivated, and antsy. She has high aspirations of living up to the expectations of her parents, or at least soaring past them if she’s able to. She also wants to prove herself to the village as well. Showing that even a shinobi without a clan technique, can do just as well as they can.

Relationships

Miyazaki Katsuyoshi [ Father ]

Tsubasa's father is a Bukijutsu specialist. He prides himself with being a weapon master and collector. She looks up to her father, aspiring to bring as strong a Shinobi as he is and to one day surpass him. Being a non-clan, she's aware of how difficult her life is but her Katsuyoshi has helped her find a way to circumvent it. Whatever problems he faces, he's almost always smiling and has an upbeat attitude. She's tried to take life in the same manner he does and is always seen smiling regardless of the situation.

Miyazaki Masumi [ Mother ]

Masumi is a medic and she's always treated Tsubasa's cuts and bruises when she was a kid. Masumi's always kept up with her daughter's abundance of energy and she's always been glad that Tsubasa is rarely ever put down by others. Though she spends most of her time taking care of Tsubasa's wounds from time to time, she's always interested in hearing of her daughter's adventures.
