Landon's mom leaves him when he is 4 y/o and his dad becomes emotionally distant. His dad doesn't want to leave but he doesn't want to take care of his son alone, so they move to New York where Landon's grandma lives, and they move in with her.
His grandma becomes his best friend.
He goes to a new school and sees a girl, Pietra (SleepyDreamElf) and kinda...develops a smol lil mini lil babey crush.
Some bullies in the school throw her in water cause they know she can't swim. Landon jumps in to save her, and this is where he learns about his powers, and she about hers. (She can breathe underwater). His powers are prompted by anxiety before he learns to control them.
Soon after, he gets sent to Xavier's school. She gets sent there a little bit after as well. When she arrives, he's like OH BOI...
He secretly has a crush on her for years and they become best friends. Eventually they confess their mutual affection and they begin to date.
Later when they are adults, they get married.
