Personality: Pre-flood: Desperately sought his mother's attention and admiration, very close to his adoptive father, Moonite, and adopted his gentle and respectful personality, very sensitive but also driven and passionate, Post-flood: Unhealthy idolization of his biological father, Dusk, adopted Dusk's personality to an extreme extent, became solely revenge-driven and hateful

Backstory: (TW in story: Parent abuse/neglect, death/murder) Clouds was born to Silver and Dusk during their short time together. Although his father wanted to name him Thunder, Silver insisted on naming him Clouds because she viewed him as weak and helpless. Dusk took care of most of the fathering duties, but he was soon driven out after fighting with Feather. Despite this, Silver refused to take care of or even acknowledge her child. Instead, Clouds was taken in and raised by Moonite. When a flood swept through the area, Moonite was killed and Silver ultimately abandoned Clouds to the waters to save herself. Unbeknownst to her, he managed to survive the flood and swore vengeance on her. In his exile, by a twist of fate, he encountered his father Dusk amassing an army for revenge for his own reasons. His father renamed him Thunder to distance him from Silver and show that he was no longer weak and helpless. Thunder then trained under his father to prepare for a coming war with Mosses' group. In the final battle, he confronted his mother, who still thought he had died in the flood. He challenged her in hopes of revenge, assuming she would finally show a semblance of regret or love and give him an opening, but he greatly underestimated her skill and heartlessness.
