Summary

A mod revival type who tries to come off as cool, calm, and collected... despite the fact that his scene is rapidly dwindling.
Appearance
Jamie is a thin, good-postured young man, who holds himself well and dresses even better. He has light peachy skin with lots of moles and freckles all over, especially on his face. He has a long nose and dark brown eyes. He has dark brown hair that is always remarkably well-trimmed. It also makes his already sizeable ears jut out even more. His hair is shaved at the nape, grown out on the sides, and he has a short fringe on his forehead. He always wears fitted clothing, usually being a full black suit, red socks, and his favourite footwear- his prized Jam shoes. He also sometimes wears striped blazers and tan chukka boots. When riding his Vespa, he wears an M-51 fishtail parka to keep his clothes dry and safe. The most casual style he will wear is an equivalent of football casual- either a Liverpool jersey or a Fred Perry polo over well-fitted Levi's and trainers. He is 5'4".
Personality
Jamie is a hardworking and attentive young man, whose mind is always on the go. He is very sharp, meticulous, and picks up things easily. He finds it easy to detect if someone is looking a little off or under-the-weather. Jamie likes making friends, but is also a little apprehensive and can be wary of new people, especially if they aren't also part of the mod scene. In fact, he is rather well-known for being cautious and paranoid, and becomes apprehensive very quickly. He can be touchy if he's interrupted while working on something. Jamie is very prudent and hates being seen as immature or inexperienced. He also has a touch of snark to him and often likes to playfully tease his brother's fashion and music tastes. Although Jamie enjoys being social and chumming around with fellow mods, he feels that he is at his best when left to his own devices.

Story
Jamie's story takes place in late 1989 in Manchester. Jamie is part of the mod revival subculture, which is fizzling out of the mainstream, but Jamie is still proudly involved in his scene.
Jamie was born in Cork, Ireland to a middle-class family on January 14, 1971. His father was a university professor, and his mother was a shop assistant. He has one brother, Alfie, who was born a year after him in 1972. The family was quite well-off and generally lived comfortably. They moved to Manchester in 1977, when Jamie was 6, as their father got a better-paying job at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. As a result, Jamie and Alfie still have a bit of an Irish accent, but they have mostly been taken over by a Mancunian one as the two have gotten older.

Relationships
Alfie Mullan
Jamie's younger brother. The two get on very well despite their different tastes in subcultures, but are no strangers to taking the piss out of each other. Jamie wishes his brother would take better care of his schooling (and hygiene, for that matter), but he knows deep down that Alfie likes doing things his own way. He appreciates Alfie's positive outlook on life- it often keeps him grounded.
His parents
Jamie gets along with his parents quite well, but the two are both a little apprehensive about him going out on his scooter and hanging out with people older than himself.Â
Trivia
- Rides a choppy white 1973 Vespa 50 Special. He was so excited to ride a scooter that he got his Learner's a day after he turned 15. At 16, he bought his scooter second-hand.
- His zodiac sign is Capricorn, and his lunar zodiac sign is Metal Dog.
- His faceclaim is Mike Skinner (The Streets), and his voiceclaim is (x). (He would have a very "average" voice for his age, albeit a little high-pitched, and kind of expressive in tone. He would have a Mancunian accent, but certain words he says may have a hint of Irish pronunciation.)
