Summary
♫  Carefree, good-humoured, nonchalant  ♫
An easy-going teen who is a constant source of light-heartedness. Heavily into the new and popular Madchester rave scene.
Appearance
Alfie is a thin, lanky young man, but you wouldn't be able to tell at first glance, because he's always wearing very baggy, oversized clothing. Alfie has a peachy complexion and is coated in freckles all over. He has a long nose and dark brown eyes. He has auburn hair that is clearly a bit outgrown, and it trails down just under his ears. His clothing of choice is always a size (or more) too big. He is never seen without baggy blue jeans. He usually wears a green Adidas colourblock rugby-style jumper (much like this one and this one), alongside worn-out trainers or brown work boots. He can also frequently be seen in a bucket hat or an oversized band t-shirt. He is 5'3".
Personality
Alfie is one of the most relaxed young men you'll ever meet. He barely has a care in the world. He loves having a good time, and is near-to-never anxious nor paranoid. He is very non-argumentative, and when faced with difficulty he prefers to walk away than to face challenges. Alfie is quick to make friends, and is extremely loyal to those he likes. Although he is an outgoing sort, he is also very happy when left alone to his own devices, and especially enjoys playing music aloud in his room. He looks at the world with a bright perspective, and finds the good in everything. He literally is the kind to stop and smell the roses when on a walk.

Story
Alfie's story takes place in late 1989 in Manchester. Alfie is part of the quite recent Madchester scene, and often spends his days going to raves and shows.
Alfie was born in Cork, Ireland to a middle-class family on October 21, 1972. His father was a university professor, and his mother was a shop assistant. He has one brother, Jamie, who was born a year before him in 1971. The family was quite well-off and generally lived comfortably. They moved to Manchester in 1977, when Alfie was 5, as their father got a better-paying job at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. As a result, Alfie and Jamie still have a bit of an Irish accent, but they have mostly been taken over by a Mancunian one as the two have gotten older.

Relationships
Jamie Mullan
Alfie's older brother. The two get on very well despite their different tastes in subcultures, but are no strangers to taking the piss out of each other. Alfie likes the fact that his brother is more austere than he is, and lets him make big decisions and choices in his wake. He feels bad that Jamie wears such formal clothing all the time. He wishes Jamie was a little less high-strung, and cared less about other people's opinions.
His parents
Alfie gets along with his parents quite well, but he often keeps the "mature" side of his subculture quiet to avoid any drug panics.
Trivia
- Owns multiple pairs of jeans- all of which are baggy.
- His zodiac sign is Libra, and his lunar zodiac sign is Water Rat.
- His faceclaim is (x), and his voiceclaim is (x). (He would have a very "average" voice for his age, albeit a little lower-pitched, and slow/drawn-out. He would have a Mancunian accent, but certain words he says may have a hint of Irish pronunciation.)
