Taiyan Sylada

Taiyan is a charming young man, witty, but unapologetically stuck-up. As the son of the heir to the Sylmas company, Taiyan was told that he had no importance. Although he was born into the aristocratic Sylada family, he did not have any special status of his own. He only had to play the role of a loving son, and be pleasant company to make the future owner of the company look good. Taiyan's freedoms were restricted from infanthood, he did not know many places to enjoy company and be true to himself other than the library. His one friend in the family was a distant aunt, who would visit once every few years. Taiyan's interactions with her were prized memories. His aunt always managed to breach all of the rules his family imposed on him, and he was not scolded for doing the same when in her company. 

Taiyan's charms allowed him the chance to have many intimate partners throughout his teenage years. After turning 18, Taiyan ran away from his home to live with his partner. Taiyan moved away again when the two broke up. He decided to leave Magmen and head for the capital city.

There, Taiyan met Teri (and long after, Adur).This coincidental meeting started the series of events that changed Taiyan.
