Catalpa is the thoughtful rock at the center of many peoples' lives. They're extremely good at understanding where other people or pokemon are coming from and trying to meet them where they're at, which makes them a really good mediator and trainer! On the other hand, they're very straightfoward in their approach to most things, and doesn't like change very much.
RELATIONS
nat is a promising young trainer that cat considers a joy to have around, and they do their best to support him in his journey to become a gym leader! whether or not he ends up taking over castiella's gym, cat hopes he finds some fulfilling work somewhere. they hold onto a lot of his pokemon for him, and gave him a pokedex to fill out!
weevil is... almost the opposite. he's always causing trouble, and has clearly gotten himself involved in some shady organization. still, cat appreciates his energy and the love he has for his pokemon, and does their best to take the time to chat with him. since he's so bad at battling, he doesn't really pose a threat to them, so they're alright with him hanging around (supervised) sometimes.
DESIGN
- cat is Tall
- doesn't like the feeling of their lab coat, so it's usually wrapped around their waist
- long hair often pinned under a hat or bandanna, pulled into a messy bun, or put in a loose ponytail
- they've got some scruffly facial hair because they forget to shave a lot of the time haha
