Codex

Codex is an out of code character. He was never full completed, and is lacking a lot of design elements that he could have had. He does not have a voice and uses his scarf to make words appear to communicate. The only noise he makes is a static sound when he laughs/screams.

Abilities:

• World Jump- Codex has the ability to world/dimension hope at will. He is not confined to one world or fandom, and will roam where he wants.
• Pseudo-Phantoming- Since Codex was never forgotten he can't fully phantom. Glitch is working with him to learn to still never be erased, so if anything happens he will be safe. If he is ever 'killed' in a world he will respawn at the CodeRunner's base.
• Scarf Arms- Codex's scarf arms are able to stretch about 160ft in length.
• Cleanse- Is able to show that negative feed back can be used to strengthen you dream by turning into criticism instead. If you accept this it can make your dream stronger.

Temperament:

Codex is very optimistic and go-lucky. Though he tends not to get attached to anything at all. He has emotions but they don’t stick; he tends to get over them fairly quickly. Almost like he forgets why he is feeling sad or upset. He is a little scatter-brained at times. It would take something that leaves a really big impression on him to get him to remember it fully.

Codex also has a habit of thinking more logically. This becomes and issue with moral debates, since he will usually sides with the more logical approach, even if it hurts someone.

Role:

“I will carry your dreams when you feel like you have lost them.”

Codex helps your dreams stay strong and grow. He will collect dreams and ambitions that people have lost, and holds onto them until the time is right to release them. He keeps them in his scarf as stars, and the bigger they are the bigger the dream. He likes to watch what they could have been, and wants to see them finished.

Relationships:

• Virus- Probably the only person that he has a strong connection with. He follows Virus around to help him out with his own dream. He doesn’t understand why Virus dislikes him, but he doesn’t care.
• Glitch|Glitches Bro- Codex get along just fine with Glitch. | Glitch's brother doesn't actually come out a lot around Codex. Odd.
• Clover- Besides Virus, Clover is probably the person he hangs out most with.
• Characters in General- He is friendly with everyone and commonly uses the phrase friendship where ever he goes. Too bad he wont remember you when he leaves. There are only a few people he remembers.

Phobias/Fears:

• Water/Drowning/Dragged Under- Codex does not like large area’s of water. If he is submerged and his scarf gets too wet it becomes heavy and he can’t swim. On top of that if he were to slip it off under water he would have a hard time swimming with no arms. If he gets wet enough to get his arms heavy, but is safe on land, he will pout because he has to wait for his arms to dry. A little water doesn’t bother him
• Loosing His Scarf/Scarf Getting Hurt- His scarf is like his security blanket. If he looses it he will lay down and scream static until it is returned/fixed.
• Real, Physical Arms- Codex is so use to having scarf arms that if, somehow, he got real arms he would freak out and break them. Since his scarf arms can move how ever he pleases, the thought of being limited to one-two joints is horrifying.
