Virus

Virus is a forgotten one. He was thrown away as a design and was going to be replaced with a newer, better design. Instead of allowing himself to fade completely, he fought back. He now controls his creators from the back of their subconscious so that he is never forgotten, and can do as he pleases.

Abilities

• World Jump- Being his own character he has the ability to ‘World Jump’ at will. He is not confined to one world or fandom, and will roam where he wants.
• Phantoming- Taught to him by Glitch, Virus is able to stay alive even after being forgotten. It is a combination of having the determination to continue to exist and having a foot hold in someone's memory (for example riding a bike, it's always there even if you forget). He can use this to, in a sense, 'never die'. If he is ever 'killed' in a world he will respawn at the CodeRunner's base.
• Static Arms- Since Virus was semi erased he can change his arms into a more claw/static form that he can stretch out further than his normal arms.
• Code Manipulation- Virus can take/copy coding and play with it at his leisure. He is able to alter small things in worlds but depending on how developed a world is counts on how long the 'edit' stays.

Temperament: 

Virus is may seem distant, but he does want to make friends and connections with characters. He has a habit of becoming really attached to things, and has a hard time letting go. Virus is fairly blunt with things and doesn't like to beat around the bush. He is hard headed but fair. For people he gains crushes he acts like a tsundere.

Role:

“I will be the motivation you need to push forward.”

Virus' personal goal is to make sure no other character is forgotten like he once was. To do so he tries to convince characters to use their creators from their subconscious so that this will never happen. He wants your creations to help you create, so that they will never be forgotten.

This goal helped spark his role as a CodeRunner. Virus specialized in motivation. He is the hard truth behind reaching a goal; you have to work for it. Virus is the reminder to get back up after you've been push down. To keep trying and to never give up, because if you give up then all work work is wasted.

Relationships:

• Glitch|Glitch's Brother- Glitch is Virus' adoptive father. He loves Glitch more than anyone. Glitch taught him all he knows about staying alive past creator's 'expiration dates', and promised him that he will never forget him even if everyone else does. | Glitch's brother is sort of like his adopted uncle. If your adoptive uncle tried to kill you at first that is. Virus and Glitch's brother get along just fine now, in fact Glitch's brother fauns over Virus regularly.
• Codex- Or better known as ‘the bane of his existence’. Virus puts up with Codex, but doesn’t like him still. He doesn’t agree with some of his morals, and hates how even after everything he’s been through Codex still follows him around.
• Clover- Virus made Clover out of coding he took from Undertale Papyrus'. He wished that he could have someone to call his own and that wish turned into Clover. They sort of have a weird love/hate relationship because Virus does care about him, but doesn't want his purpose to be to love him.
• Crushes- Because Virus gets attached easily, he gains crushes pretty fast too. Sadly he knows he can’t pursue them because they are usually with someone else’s character, will never be fully ‘canon’, or that they are being forced by creator’s hands.

Phobias/Fears:

• Abandonment- For obvious reasons he has abandonment issues, and because of this he some times puts up walls between himself and others to not get too attached. But sadly, he gets very attached to some people. If one of the people he was attached too decides to move on from him, he’d be crushed.
• Sudden Darkness- If he is suddenly in a dark, enclosed area Virus will start to freak out. It’ll bring up bad memories from his ‘Almost Deletion’. He can walk into dark areas just fine, but if he finds himself in an unknown area is when it begins to set in.
• Being Forgotten- Virus has a fear of being forgotten. If he ever lost the control he had to control creators and survive he would crumble. Everything he worked for would be for nothing.
