Additional notes are that Mizu dislikes battling. She doesn't know many attacking moves, and is much better at being tricky and slippery.
Although she is smaller and physically weaker than Absoltwo, Absoltwo was abused horrifically by humans at the lab, leaving her scarred psychologically. As a result, she acts as her protector when in human form, acting as her trainer, communicating with other trainers and keeping Absoltwo away from more abuse by humans.

Mizu likes to act like somewhat of a scientist herself, calling exploring and discovering things outside the lab with Absoltwo "field work."
