"Life moves pretty fast if you dont look around once in a while"
Brian, a dude after a fallout! Somehow when the zombies appeared, they werent dumb. No, quite the opposite. They were smarter, Faster. They still bite though, no safety from that. Brian was forced to turn by his parents, they had him bit at age 3 to "help him out." Spoiler alert: He doesnt think it helped. He works as a dealer of weed, because who doesnt need their fill after a fallout? He has his own shelter underground where he has a whole greenhouse. Despite his occupation, he also grows a bunch of fruits, vegetables, and whatever he wants to! He loves to grow sugarcane! He uses it to create butterscotch, his guilty pleasure!
Nuclear fallout didnt treat brian well. When he was born, it hadnt happened. When brian was 1.5 years old, it hit. No one expected it. [DATA EXPUNGED] launched a nuke, no expectancies. Somehow, something reacted in the soil and brought them. Speed, intelegence, anything you can imagine. They had it, they brought it. In a way, the world somehow actually got better. They didnt breathe the oxygen, instead being more so like trees, breathing in the Co2 and breathing out the oxygen. From there, [DATA EXPUNGED] made a deal with the remaining humans. Live in peace, give us a few humans to keep us going. Easy peasy. Or so they thought.

BACKGROUND
THE BOMB
[DATA EXPUNGED] had been planning it for years. Hidden far underground with an ai they had developed, they made the perfect bomb. The bomb was fairly small at only [DATA EXPUNGED], but it packed a mighty punch. The bomb was called"[DATA EXPUNGED]" a fitting name for such a beast. Launched in may of [DATA EXPUNGED] the bomb went boom, unsuprisingly. The initial wave killed thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people. The lingering radiation also killed thousands becuase of peoples lack of understanding of how radiation works, while also killing lots of the local flora and fauna. Those that did survive? Well. "Deer" no longer resemble themselves, having rapidly mutated into great beasts. Sharp teeth, shorter legs, sharper horns. No longer herbivores, they now also hunt for meat. Now the apex preditor of their areas, life isnt as easy. Rabbits? Even worse. Having a new apex preditor hunting them plus their fluffy coats, they had to adapt the most. Longer snouts, shorter stature, less fur, different coats, the whole works. (to be continued! i have other things to do rn that take priority lmao)
