Overview
Phantom is one of the most gifted composers of the modern day. As hypersensitive as she is, she manages to get by most days (albeit, with a fair dose of pain). She fights chronic migraines, and requires leg braces and a fair amount of mobility support to go about her day. Her life is defined by adversity, but through music she gains her drive to carry on.
Phantom has a slew of various medical conditions and diagnoses. These include Autism, PTSD, Hyperacusis, Absolute Pitch, and Chronic Migraines. Her species, Canis astra ("Wolf of the Stars," also known as a Spectral Wolf), cannot walk traditionally in anthro form. Phantom, to maintain her dignity and avoid ridicule, uses specially moulded orthotics to be able to walk upright.
The cape that you see Phantom wearing is a symbol of masking. "Keep your disability invisible and it doesn't hurt anyone" is her motto. You learn quickly that she's tough. She had to be. It's a sign of strength to stay invisible. But as Phantom has learned, learning to accept and cherish yourself as who you are is equally as strong.
Trivia
- Even though she is a "space wolf," as others call her, she is very uninterested in astrology and only studies it to answer others' questions.
- Is surprisingly good at hand-eye coordination (except in busy and overstimulating environments), which makes solving Rubik's cubes a breeze.
- Knows way too many languages for her own good.
- She is slightly colorblind! It doesn’t really affect her day to day life, and she only realized recently.
- Phantom has an extreme dislike for heavy metal, and will probably destroy anything metal related.
- Phantom has a conducting degree but has never taken the stand besides her degree work. She can't do it because her hearing is too sensitive. Someday though, she always dreams of doing it.
