Johan

Despite giving off the impression of being all play and no work, Johan unexpectedly takes his position quite seriously. Although he is not the firstborn prince of the Damerel Empire, he is only the heir due to his older-half brother being a bastard child. Truthfully, Johan does not want to be the Emperor. He craves freedom and the ability to make his own choices. In spite of the fact that Johan has a very libertine personality, he is still bound to perfectionism due to his situation; if he slips up, he faces the consequences brutally. Perfectionism is hardwired into him. The Imperial family of Damerel is very proud and prestigious, averse to showing any sign of weakness - which is enforced upon heirs in any means necessary. Johan's aversion to wanting to inherit the throne is further motivated by his romantic interest in Gerav, a stranger Johan happened upon whilst taking a break at a nearby forest. Now with Gerav by his side, as a captain of Johan's personal Imperial Army, the young Crown Prince is desperate to find an alternative to becoming the next Emperor of Damerel.
