Gerav

The 7th prince of a corrupt and volatile kingdom- Arahas. Gerav has lived a life of secrecy, distrust, violence, and a constant fear of assassination. This environment has pushed Gerav to be an astounding swordsman, wielding a powerful shotel. He has mastered earth magic under the secretive protection of his older brother-like figure, who is actually his uncle, Kafu. The two grew up secretly meeting with each other, being the only ones of similar age, a 3 year difference, within the large and confusing royal family. Kafu was particularly discriminated against, due to being both a bastard child, and a Beasten. This pure familial friendship is what saved Gerav's life in the end. As Kafu usurped the throne and cut down anyone in his path, he spared Gerav, and "exiled" him from the kingdom. The exile was the safest way for Gerav to survive, and he remains grateful to his best friend to this day, for that mercy. As time went on, and Gerav's travels took him all over the continent, he landed in the capital of the Damerel Empire. Here, he gained favor of the crowned prince, albeit unwillingly, and secured a position of Captain for one of the imperial armies. It did not take long for Prince Johan to break down Gerav's walls and anchor a permanent place in his fragile heart.
