Cynred was unwillingly transformed into a Madarikrista after he angered one with Steven Universe memes and Sprite Cherry. That Madarikrista had asked for Sprite Cranberry, and giving them that cursed mimicry after he had ridiculed their physical pain crossed the line. The madarikrista who transformed him made sure he would feel pain in the most inconventient of places, especially his eyes.

Cynred has no idea how many years had passed since he was transformed. The searing pain of his existence made the days weld together. Sometimes, he gets used to the pain, but it always comes back worse and more intense.

His Mizushi friend, Aysu, visits him every now and then. They always seem to want to do something with him. He doesn't appreciate their activeness when he's not feeling well, but at least someone's there to help him through this. His closer friends, Willoh and Vaska both come over regularly to play Smash and Mario Kart. He hates it when Willoh runs him off of the track in Rainbow Road.
