Introduction
A powerful sorceress, who was once part of the organisation known as the Order of the White Witches. Also known as the enigmatic lady of the Stein family, and Nathaniel's beloved wife. Her soft-spoken and kindly demeanor hides her history as a ruthless slayer of evil creatures of the night. She's mellowed out a lot since her youth, and compassion fueled her belief in the possibility of a peaceful co-existence with the same monsters she had once sworn to kill. Disguising herself as a vampire, she was able to lead a blissful life with her husband and child, until a dangerous individual from her past came knocking on the door...
Personality
Quiet but pleasant, Lylia has been frequently described (particularly by one Nathaniel von Stein) as having a soothing presence. In some ways, she is the model noble lady: courteous, amicable, and composed. In truth, she rarely allows anyone to get close enough to her to discover her honest feelings and thoughts, preferring to keep to herself and her family.
Tired of bending to someone else’s will and being forced to do their bidding mindlessly, she seeks the strength to protect those that she loves. She has a deep sense of compassion for all living creatures, which gave her the courage to stand up for herself and what she truly believed in, in spite of her soft-hearted nature. Now, she has burning desire to change the world for the better. Not through violence, as she had once been taught, but through her ideals of empathy and understanding.
History
Born in a small village on the outskirts of Voltria, a land ruled by vampires, Lylia was sold by her impoverished parents at a young age to a mysterious organisation known as the Order of the White Witches. The leader of the organisation, Johan Valentin, had sensed her hidden magical talent, and saw great potential in the young girl to become a powerful sorceress. Lylia was thus trained to use her magic to vanquish the monsters that plagued their world, alongside other magically-inclined children collected by the Valentins.
While the children were adopted by the Valentins in name, they were really treated more like soldiers. They had to obey any order given to them, and anyone who displayed even the slightest hint of defiance would be cast out from the ranks of the Order.

Trivia
- Her hobbies involve gardening and tending to "cute" woodland creatures. She particularly adores carnivorous plants.
- Lylia likes making handicrafts and decorating her home with them. She has also hand-crafted a number of toys for her little son.
- She really dislikes fancy clothes and finds them stifling, much preferring to wear loose dresses or robes.
- Her favourite food is homemade pumpkin pie.
