Introduction
A young witch turned werewolf with a passion for growing giant vegetables. Once, she served in the Order of the White Witches as a comrade-in-arms and sister to Lylia Valentin, training to battle creatures of the night. In a cruel twist of fate, she was bitten by a werewolf herself and turned. To prevent her from being killed by their former witch allies, Lylia aided her in escaping and going into hiding. Now, she lives alone in the woods, visited on occasion only by Lylia.
While she has an affinity for nature based magic, her powers are average at best, able to perform only the basics of witchcraft. She makes up for her lack of magical talent with her boundless enthusiasm and cheery attitude.
Personality
Outgoing and lively, Kath is a ball of sunshine, always eager to make friends and lend a helping hand. She is fiercely loyal and once she has devoted herself to a person, she'd follow them to the very ends of the earth. She adores attention and detests being alone.
Once she was courageous and daring, even to the point of recklessness at times, but her transformation into a werewolf has turned her into a much more timid person. She is nervous in the dark and constantly wary of the shadows, as if she is expecting to be attacked at any time. Moreover, she lacks faith in her abilities, believing that she is weak. Despite this, she tries her best to appear confident and cheerful, afraid that she might drive others away if she were to show even the slightest hint of gloominess.
Even though she is almost middle-aged, she still tends to act like a child. Her mannerisms and behavior have not changed from since she was fifteen. However, she hates being belittled and treated like a child.
History
Much like Lylia, Kath was "adopted" by the Valentins and trained to be a monster slayer as part of the Order of the White Witches. However, her lackluster powers did not impress the Valentins, causing her to be largely ignored while they lavished Lylia with praise and attention.
Although the Valentins did not care for her, Kath was popular among the other witch children in training. Thus, Kath started to see herself as a direct rival to Lylia, who was ironically disliked by the rest of the children for being the Valentins' favourite, and for being cold and aloof in general. Kath would frequently antagonize Lylia and challenge her to duels. While Kath lost every single time, she bounced back from her defeat almost immediately, each time with more enthusiasm than the last.
Initially, Lylia merely saw Kath as a petty annoyance, but there never seemed to be any real malice behind Kath's actions. Eventually, after recognizing that Kath was simply trying to get her attention, the younger girl started to grow on her.
Their rivalry came to a head when Lylia and Kath were sent to exterminate a small clan of werewolves together. However, the information they had received was unreliable and the two found themselves greatly outnumbered. Lylia was barely able to fend for herself, let alone protect Kath, who was quickly overwhelmed and bitten.
Somehow, the two managed to escape. Kath, finally breaking down, begged Lylia to kill her before she could turn into a monster herself. Lylia refused and brought Kath deep into an abandoned forest on the borders of Voltria, remaining with her until her wounds healed. Lylia resolved that she would take care of Kath from now on, asking Kath to remain hidden within the forest. Without any other choice, Kath agreed.
Thus, Kath started to live by herself in the dark forest. Survival was simple enough; with the help of her magic, she could easily grow fruits and vegetables on even the most barren of lands. However, now completely isolated from the rest of the world, she was utterly miserable and lonely. The only ray of joy in her life was when Lylia would visit.
Such was her sad existence until one day, Lylia showed up, disheartened, and declared that she was expelled from the Order of the White Witches. She requested to move in with Kath, who agreed readily.
Now living together with her best friend and savior, Kath was content with her new life. Little did she know their peaceful little world would not last. The two girls would soon grow bored and venture out into a nearby town, setting up a little apothecary. Kath would make the potions in their forest home, while Lylia would bring them into the town to sell.
One day, Lylia returned home and informed Kath that she would be leaving. She explained that she was going to marry a vampire nobleman and live together with him in his mansion. However, to do so, she needed Kath's help to make her a potion that would disguise her as a vampire.
Kath could barely believe Lylia's words. Yet, it eventually sank in that her friend was utterly serious. And owing a great debt to Lylia for saving her life, Kath could not refuse her request.
Lylia moved away and once more, Kath was left all alone. Of course, she was not completely abandoned, and Lylia continued to visit her on occasion, giving her updates on her new life. In return, Kath supplied her with the potions to keep up her vampiric disguise, happy that her friend had built a new family for herself. If only, she longed a little wistfully, she could be part of it as well.

- Kath's favourite party trick is to make plants grow rapidly to monstrous proportions.
