biography

A very stubborn, outspoken, quite rude and petty little thing that has more 'observant' smarts than any sort of book smarts (and boy can he can be tetchy about this lack of intelligence)...

Though he has been a criminal all of his parentless, 'wild' youth, a maestro from the Bard's College saw potential in him, and helped to hone his skills, most notably with how well those nimble fingers can work above strings.
These days, Ley uses his finely made zither to make money, and when all else fails, he doesn't feel embarrassed or ashamed to make gold the way he used to as a ragamuffin.

His pleasant and sweet outward appearance can often be disarming as he feels no need to 'hide' himself, and will quickly launch into tirades or dramatic hyperbole about his personal (usually negative) outlook on life.
He's a tough cookie (and quite wily about his constitution), and though he can sometimes be caught off-guard, he would rather die on every hill possible than be stuck hearing the last laugh from someone else. This doesn't mean he is a battler by any means, but he certainly can defend himself well enough to find opportunity to flee.

He spends most of his days wandering town to town, performing for coin, but also... Seemingly searching for something he has yet to find. He'll know it when he sees it, he thinks.

• His special zither is Drow-made, with Drider silk for strings, and Drow onyx marbled along the larger fork at the top of the instrument. It cost him quite the pretty penny
