Pratus

Pratus was created by a powerful mage a long, long time ago, to serve as a bodyguard, housekeeper, gardener, and companion. Eventually, the mage died peacefully of old age, and Pratus set out into the wider world. He tends to settle into a community for a century or two, helping people and making friends, until the generations he's lost weigh too heavily on him, and he uproots and moves onto the next community.

His weapon of choice is an axe and he has an affinity for Earth magic. However, he is equally at home in civilian dress, doing domestic chores or farming. He has a tattered old journal he keeps as a memento of his creator.
